Surroundings
The pleasant family Hotel 2000 is located in the romantic hills of Zuid Limburg. This area is also known as Little Switzerland. Go on a nice walk or bicycle rideHikers along winding roads, valleys, estates, castles, watermills and monasteries. Spa and wellness centre Thermae 2000 is located in Valkenburg as well and offers many wellness facilities and thermal baths. Children can enjoy theme parks De Valkenier and the Sprookjesbos.
Food and Drinks
Every day, a breakfast buffet is served from 08:00 to 10:00 h. On request guests can have breakfast at an earlier time. Lunchboxes can also be ordered.
In the evening, guests can enjoy a delightful dinner in the stylish restaurant. Three-course dinners with a choice between two main dishes, fish or meat, are available. Naturally, the kitchen can take special culinary or diet requirements into account. During the summer the staff frequently organise a barbecue. You can enjoy lunch from noon to 16:00 h. an dinner from 17:30 to 20:30 h.

Strange smell when first entering hotel and it was there for the duration of the stay. The door leading to the balcony from the room was missing the top hinge so made it dangerous and hard to close door. reported this to reception but was never fixed during our stay.

good location en route to Germany and a handy 3-4hours from Channel ports. Nice big free car park suitable for vans, buses etc. Nice breakfast.

Single room in old part of hotel, small and out dated, bathrooms and whole room needs urgent makeover. Poor lighting. Internet does not seem to work except if you sit outside in smokers area.Should make wireless work everywhere. Staff friendly, but to willing to pick up a call and chat when dealing with you, which is a bit rude. I have stayed before and will again as the bed is comfy, the price and location right but hope to see improvements

We booked a three beds room. We got a very spacious, brand new four bed room with a lot of luxoury. Nice people, very kind owner. You can see that some improvements of this hotel are still under construction; we see this as a good investment for the future, it didn't disturb us.

Echt niets bijzonders en dat geldt voor alles. Het is een oud hotel, met houten trappen en vloeren die aan alle kanten kraken. Kamer was klein maar wel schoon. Ontbijt was niks bijzonders maar niet slecht. Echt een hotel waar je niet langer dan 1 nacht wil blijven, maar wel voor een redelijke prijs. Bij het afrekenen kregen we een drank bon onder onze neus, hoewel we geen drankje genuttigd hadden. Opzet of slordigheid? In ieder geval niet handig. Wij komen hier niet meer terug.
