The family that run Hotel Amsterdam, welcome you in the popular tourist town of Valkenburg. Here you will find basic comfort at attractive rates. This means there will be money left for a visit to the numerous sights in Valkenburg, or for a day trip to the nearby city of Maastricht.

On foot it only takes you 5 minutes to get from Hotel Amsterdam to the town centre of Valkenburg. In this town tourists of all ages enjoy themselves with the cableway to the Wilhelmina tower, a visit to the caves Gemeentegrot, a day in amusement park Pretpark Valkenier or a stroll in the fairytale theme park Sprookjesbos. Those that like cycling and walking will love the beautiful area surrounding Valkenburg. By train or car the cities of Heerlen and Maastricht can be easily reached.
