Hotel Huis ter Geul is peacefully located in a green area near the city centre of Valkenburg. The tranquil and beautiful surroundings invite visitors to a nice stroll or a bicycle ride. At just 100 metres there is a bus stop and the train station can be reached on foot in 10 minutes. The staff welcome everyone in the warm-hearted manner for which the province of Limburg is renowned. The varied menu of the Grand Café offers options for lunch and dinner. The kitchen is open on weekdays from 17:00 until 20:00 h. and weekends from 12:00 until 20:00 h.
At the cosy bar you can order a pleasant drink or a small snack from the nice bar staff. What about a local brew or a Trappist beer of the Chimay abbey? The bar is daily open until 23:00 h.

Within a short distance from hotel Huis ter Geul, on the top of the Cauberg, lies the spa Thermae 2000. The annual Amstel Gold race is a famous cycling tour that finishes on top of this hill. A pleasant trip can be made to the Fluwelengrotten, marl caves from the 11th century. Visitors can wander around the caves and observe several murals. In the vicinity you will also find castles, a cable-way and the fairytale theme park Sprookjesbos.
