Description

Hotel Hulsman is a hotel that emanates the authentic atmosphere of the region around Valkenburg. Hospitality is the main theme in the hotel, which is situated just outside of the city centre. Strolls in Valkenburg will take you along the areas of interest. Thermal baths and wellness centre Thermae 2000, the casino and the caves of Valkenburg are well worth a visit. Hotel Hulsman is a place where guests will most certainly feel at home.

From the outside one immediately notices the distinctive white façade with red sun blinds. Inside, warm colours will welcome you. A classical decoration characterizes Hotel Hulsman which results into an atmospheric ambience. The hotel is situated in the city centre of Valkenburg, so all of the main sights can be reached easily. The surroundings have a lot to offer. One can go skiing in the largest indoor ski piste of Europe 'Snowworld' in Landgraaf, or enjoy several hiking and cycling tracks nearby. Besides the vibrant nightlife, restaurants, cafés and the casino, the caves of Valkenburg and wellness centre Thermae 2000 are well worth a visit.

Surroundings

The marl caves in and around Valkenburg have delivered a lot of marl that was used for many present day monuments. A stroll through the city leads along the castle ruins, the 'Wilhelminatoren' tower and numerous lovely terraces and restaurants. One can take a gamble at the casino or relax in wellness centre Thermae 2000. In the heart of Valkenburg lies the regional museum in a beautiful monumental building. More extensive walks or bicycle rides can be arrange in the 'Geuldal' valley, along the forests, hills and meadows near Valkenburg.
