Hotel Riche welcomes guests for over fifty years now in the town of Valkenburg, Limburg. A delightful garden with terrace enables guests to relax after - or even before - a visit to the city of Valkenburg and its surroundings. The hilly scenery is a paradise for hiking and cycling enthusiasts. The gleaming landscape has numerous rivers, half-timbered houses, churches and castles and several tracks lead to the most beautiful spots of the Limburg province.
The rooms at hotel Riche are all equipped with telephone, television, radio and a bathroom with toilet, shower or bath and a hair dryer. Bicycles can be rented at hotel Riche and information about tracks around Valkenburg is available as well. With the use of a rental bicycle, Valkenburg and its surroundings can be explored to full extent. On top of this, the hotel offers a conference room for meetings, parties or workshops. Food and Drinks
The extensive breakfast buffet is set up on weekdays between 07:30 and 10:00 h. and on Sundays until 10:30 h.
For a savoury dinner guests can visit the Restaurant Riche or Restaurant PortoBello. Both kitchens serve dishes based on Dutch cuisine with a French touch. The menu changes from day to day, although à la carte meals can be ordered as well. You can enjoy dinner from 18:00 to 20:00 h.

Surroundings
The 200 monuments in Valkenburg put sheer delight in a stroll through the old town. Even underground, Valkenburg hides interesting sights. The caves are a popular tourist attraction. Outside of Valkenburg there are many tracks for cycling and hiking enthusiasts, although a nostalgic journey by train can be part of the tour as well. The Miljoenenlijn railroad from Valkenburg to Simpelveld can be travelled with a genuine steam locomotive. Cities such as Maastricht, Aachen and Liège can be visited easily from Hotel Riche.
