Description
Trimbos hotel has 13 rooms, including a triple-to-quad room, one single and two triples. The rooms have a television, bathroom and wireless Internet. The lockable garden has a shed where bicycles and motorcycles can be parked. The excellent restaurant Jérôme is run by the son of the owners and he has more than earned his stripes in various international cuisines.
Valkenburg aan de Geul, the most visited tourist town of the province Limburg. Hotel Trimbos lies within walking distance of the railway and bus station and the centre of Valkenburg. The station building dates back from 1853. It is the oldest station building still in use in the Netherlands. From Valkenburg aan de Geul there's a direct train link to the MECC in Maastricht. There's also trains to Maastricht, Heerlen and Aachen. The station is also the departure point of the steam train of the train line Miljoenenlijntje.
Food and Drinks
Breakfast (buffet) is served from 08:30 to 10:00 h.
For a meal, visit the excellent restaurant Jérôme, here you can enjoy culinary dishes for a reasonable price. Only fresh products are used. The restaurant is open for lunch from 12:00 to 14:00 h. (except for Saturdays) and for dinner from 18:00 to 21:00 h. The restaurant is closed on Tuesdays. The restaurant has a 2-cutlery designation from the Michelin Guide.
Behind the restaurant there's a terrace where weather permitting, you can eat al fresco. The bar is open from noon to midnight.

In the hotel guests can make use of wirelss Internet at a small charge.

- Guests can check in until 00:00 h. In case you would like to check in after 20:00 h., you need to contact the reception in advance.
- An additional bed for an adult can be placed in the room on request for €38 a night.

Surroundings
The famous trail Pieterpad runs along Hotel Trimbos Valkenburg. In the beautiful surroundings it's wonderful to make bicycle trips and motorcycle or car tours through the beautiful hilly South Limburg landscape. Especially the 125-kilometer Mergelland route is especially popular. Thermae 2000 is a popular health resort on the hill Cauberg. Famous attractions in the area are the underground marl pits, the cave aquarium Valkenburg and the fairytale forest Sprookjesbos Valkenburg.
