In the centre of Veendam lies Hotel Parkzicht. The hotel owes its name, which means 'Park View' to all the trees, fountains, and open spaces of Park City Veendam. Next to the hotel you will find the 'Veenkoloniaal Museum', which is dedicated to the history of the peat-soil and peat-cutters of this area.
Hotel Parkzicht has 50 rooms with a private bathroom, where you can enjoy the use of a bath, shower, and a toilet. In addition, all rooms are equipped with a television and a telephone.
