Description
Enjoy yourself in this cosy bed and breakfast, that is situated on a special location. In the 19th century, this place was a colony for vagrants, orphans and poor families. They could be required to live and work here. Today this is a beautiful natural area where you can relax and refresh yourself and enjoy the peace and quiet.
The old former dormitory accommodates three spacious and comfortable double apartments. The rooms, overlooking the vast estates, are equipped with a sitting area with a wood stove, a sleeping loft and a private bathroom. Furthermore the rooms have a private terrace where you can enjoy the stunning views over the estates and natural surroundings.

The rooms are equipped with a kitchen. On request you can also use the breakfast service or dinner on arrival.

Erfgoedlogies Oud Bergveen is surrounded by nature with many walking and cycling routes. You are recommended to visit the Gevangenismuseum (prison) in the nearby town of Veenhuizen. Or vist the picturesque villages of Langelo and Norg. In the surroundings countryside you might even see deer grazing in the meadows. Shopping enthusiasts will truly enjoy themselves in the city of Groningen, that is just an hour drive away. This charming city houses many cafes, restaurants, shops and museums. The Groninger Museum is a work of art itself.
