The original name of the town was Campveere, the name of the hotel still recalls those days. The Campveerse Toren was formerly the old town inn and nowadays that is still the function of the tower. It lies by the lake Veerse Meer, which gives the hotel a unique character. For waterlovers, this hotel an ideal place to visit. You can explore the surroundings by several walks that lead you along the Veerse Meer.

When you stay in a hotel room at the Hotel Auberge de Campveerse Toren, you can enjoy its splendid views of the Veerse Meer and the marina of Veere. The rooms are divided over three annexes that are located near the main building. All rooms have an en suite bathroom with bath or shower and toilet, hairdryer, telephone and safe. About the historic town of Veere is little known but it has certainly been 700 years. Veere is praised by the ideal location on the water and over 250 monuments. In the vicinity are many attractions to visit such as Delta Park Neeltje Jans, the whole day where you can enjoy sea and other attractions. Flushing is also easy to reach, this is a modern city with old core. Vlissingen is a bustling seaside resort with beautiful boulevards and beautiful beaches.

Josette Dumont Terrific romantic ploace near the lake: 14 June 2010; 9.8; + Excellent room , very quiet, charming village and romantic lake. Boat tour on the lake is recomended, the passengers receive information about the small islands .; - The stairs to get to the rooms at the first floor are very steep, so not recommended for old people with leg problems! Restaurant on Saturday night : not enough waiters: we had to wait half an hour to get our drinks and were there for three long hours... Better: to have dinner in small restaurants in the village.

Margot Romantischer Ort am Veerse-Meer mit tollen Restaurants: 22 August 2010; 9.8; + Sehr individuell eingerichtete Zimmer, von denen sich vier im historischen Torgebäude und die anderen in der Nähe in drei ehemaligen Wohnhäusern des Ortes befinden. Unser Zimmer hatte sogar einen Garten! Das Restaurant bietet abends Gourmetküche im historischen Turmzimmer (Reservierung empfohlen). Hier gibt es auch das Frühstück (überwiegend am Tisch serviert sowie kleines Buffet). Es gibt auch eine Außenterrasse mit Bar.; - Die Speisekarte gibt es zwar zweisprachig, doch nur in niederländisch und französich. Damit bleiben für Deutsche einige Gerichte zunächst rätselhaft, doch das freundliche und kompetente Personal hat gerne geholfen.

richard bakker De camperveerse toren,meer dan een beleving!: 31 May 2009; 8.6; + Prachtig stadje,schitterend uitzicht,romantische ambiance.Er werd al op ons gewacht en de sleutel werd ons al aangereikt bij aankomst,zodat we niet eerst de trap op moesten.; - Normale prijs van 165 euro per nacht vinden wij wel aan de dure kant,120 euro wat wij er voor betaald hebben was het zeker waard!ook min punt dat je 20 euro borg voord de afstands bediening moet betalen en die dan op moet halen bij de receptie,ook minpunt dat er geen parkeerplaatsen gereserveerd zijn voor het hotel!
