The Golden Tulip Arnhem-Velp Hotel is located at the edge of a big pond just outside of Arnhem-Velp. With its location on the A12 motorway the hotel is perfectly suited for guests travelling to the hotel by car. The luxurious hotel has been updated in 2003, to meet the currents standards of comfort. It has a spacious lounge, two good restaurants, an English bar, and a terrace by the water. Hotel guests can use the sauna for free, as well as the Turkish steam bath and the fitness centre. The solarium can be used at a charge.
At the hotel guests can rent bikes and the staff of the hotel will gladly help you if you need any information about bike or walking routes. The hotel also has a babysit service.
All rooms are provided with a bathroom with a shower, toilet, and hair dryer. On request, a room with a bath can be booked, at a surcharge. In addition, the rooms are equipped with coffee and tea making facilities, a television, and a mini bar. There is a wireless ADSL Internet connection that guests can use for a charge. An extensive continental breakfast buffet is set up on weekdays from 07:00 to 10:00 h. and in the weekends from 07:30 to 10:30 h.
Golden Tulip Arnhem-Velp has two restaurants: 'De Globe', with its pleasant and intimate atmosphere, and restaurant 'De Serre', with its grand café ambiance. Both border on the large terrace by the water. The restaurants share the same à la carte menu, from which guests can also choose lunch items. From 17.00 h. guests can dine in the restaurant. The bar is open until 01:00 h, but this depends if it is busy or not.
Before and after dinner guests are more than welcome in the English style bar.

From the hotel guests can make beautiful car or bike trips through the nature area 'De Veluwe', or the river area 'De Gelderse Poort'. In 2007 Arnhem has been named the best inner city of The Netherlands, and is therefore worth a visit. Beautiful squares, outdoor cafés, and shops, combined with historic surroundings, all make this friendly city a pleasant place to spend the day.
