Hotel Carpe Diem is housed in a historical and characteristic manorial farm or homestaed. You can enjoy the beautiful surroundings with the splendid woods that you can explore on foot or by bicycle on the fine gravel paths. The hotel has ample parking and if you bring your own bicycle you can also park them safely at the hotel. You can even stable your horse. You don't want to bring your own bike? The hotel rents bikes, so you can explore the beautiful surroundings.
Furthermore, the hotel has a spacious lounge with fireplace, where you can recover from an active day with a snack and a drink. With warm weather you can eat dinner in the teagarden. In the morning you can enjoy a delicious breakfast after a good night's sleep.
The hotel has 22 comfortable rooms, equipped with shower, toilet, desk, alarm clock and a seat. The terrace rooms have a private terrace, where you can enjoy the splendid view. The suite is very comfortable and luxurious and in addition to the above facilities it has a king bed and an infra-red sauna.

The extensive breakfast buffet is served daily from 07:30 to 10:00h. The restaurant is open from 11:30 to 20:00h. You can enjoy anything from a delicious lunch to an à la carte dinner. Furthermore, the bar is open each day from 08:00 to 02:00 h.

Surroundings
In the beautiful Montferland, also known as the green border, Hotel Carpe Diem is situated. Around Montferland there are many towms to explore on foot or by bicycle. Among the small towns are Bronkhorst, the oldest town in the Netherlands and Doesburg, one of the Hanseatic towns by the river IJssel. In the area you can also undertake recreational activities such as cable waterskiing and when the weather is not that nice you can shop in the covered shopping mall in Oberhausen (Germany).
