From early April to late October you can see deer and wild boars in their natural habitat. Animal lovers can also pay a visit to the monkey zoo De Apenheul, where half of all the monkeys roam freely among the visitors. In the woods by Apeldoorn lies Paleis Het Loo. This used to be the royal family's favourite summer residence; nowadays it is a museum.

Every morning the breakfast is served in the non-smoking breakfast area between 08:00 and 10:00 h. Guests can have lunch between 12:00 and 17:00 h. in the brasserie or at the outdoor café when weather permits. For coffee, a nice drink or a dish from the small menu guests can pay a visit to the brasserie, which has comfortable places to sit by the fireplace and the bar. The brasserie is open until 21:00 h. and the bar is open until 00:30 h.
Dinner is served from 18:00 to 19:30 in the atmospheric à la carte restaurant. Here guests can choose between various savoury meals from the French-inspired kitchen. The kitchen staff prepare seasonal and fresh specialities, such as asparagus in spring, mussels in late summer, and meat specialities in winter. The chef will gladly take into account any dietary preferences, as long as these are communicated in advance.
