Description
B & B De Rode Boei lies just off the promenade, not far from the centre of Vlissingen. The friendly reception and amiable service contribute to a pleasant stay close to the sea. The simple, clean rooms with shared facilities vary in size, but offer good beds and cable television. Breakfast is served in the cosy living room.
The name of the B & B ('The Red Bouy') refers to the buoy Oostgat 14. This was the first red buoy marking the channel Oostgat in the waterway between Vlissingen and Westkapelle. Large ships sail right along the beautiful promenade of Vlissingen. You can watch them at your leisure from one of the terraces. The beach is within walking distance of the B & B and is ideal for a nice refreshing walk along the sea or dunes. On foot or by bike you can explore the beautiful countryside. The garage offers enough space for bicycles.
Food and Drinks
Monday through Friday , beakfast is served in the cosy living room from 8:00 to 9:30 h. and on Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 to 10:30 h. The rooms are provided with an electric kettle and free coffee, tea and chocolate.

- The B&B does not have a 24-hour reception. Guests can check-in until 14:00 h. In case you would like to check-in after 14:00 h., you need to contact the reception in advance.
- An additional bed can be placed on request for €20 a night.

Surroundings
The Walcheren peninsula is probably the nicest area of Zealand. The surroundings of B & B De Rode Boei offer a lot of activities for young and old. Popular theme parks are the Arsenaal and the Iguana reptile zoo and theme park Neeltje Jans. At Westkapelle, on the most western point of Zeeland, is a golf course. Veere and Middelburg as well as Vlissingen are charming towns with a rich history. They are all well worth a visit.
