Not a good hotel, will not recommend it
–
The receptionist was very very unfriendly.
We had to pay the full amount of our stay when we checked in, even before we got to see the room.
The rooms are very small with awful murals on every wall which makes the room even smaller. There was no hospitality tray. There are no hooks in the bathroom to hang your clothes. The bathroom smells unpleasant. Warm water was not continous, more or less pulsating. There was no privacy, if you wanted to be in your room you would have to close the curtains otherwise everybody walking past could look in. It was already a dark room so that did not help. It was noisy, folk walking past your room. The breakfast was ok but then there were folk with dogs in the breakfast room which was rather disgusting. The hotel is badly decorated and could do with an update. I do not understand why this hotel has 4 stars. I will not recommend this hotel in fact I will stop folk from booking a room there if I can. It is expensive and it is a bad hotel.

The staff were helpful and very cheerful. The restaurant was simple but very good and the ambiance great. We had one first floor room with a balcony, which was great. We shall return.
–
We also had a room on the ground floor, which had no balcony and was not so pleasant.
