Description
In 2009 DV Groep Bed and Breakfast Volendam opened its doors for the first time. Located in the heart of the picturesque former-Zuiderzee town of Volendam, this small pension is a pleasant surprise. It is located in a building with a typical façade. On the top floor are seven rooms. On the ground floor is the cosy Italian restaurant Dolce Vita. The pension has a lively and welcoming atmosphere, thanks to the Italian host who likes to make sure that everyone is well. In this small pension it is easy to come into contact with other guests.
In all four seasons it is pleasant to stay in DV Groep Bed and Breakfast Volendam. The fishing village of Volendam offers a glimpse of the Dutch past. Beautiful canals with charming houses, the Doolhof maze with hundred year old quiet streets, and locals in their typical traditional Volendam costume. The port offers a view at the many boats that sail in and out to the town of Marken. If you want to do something else, you can use the public transport to visit Amsterdam for example, within 15 minutes you can reach the centre of this beautiful city.
