Hotel Waalwijk

Clean, excellent value, good breakfast

• + This hotel was brilliant value for money. Our room was more like a suite. It was enormous. Hotel staff spoke English and were very helpful. Room was very clean and breakfast buffet was great!
• – The decor was definitely a bit dated (eighties)!
• * my tip There is a great Italian restaurant just around the corner. (Left out of the hotel, turn left at the traffic lights, walk 300m and it is on your left.). Serves very good pasta and pizza and is very reasonably priced. We had a great evening there. The hotel is also very well located for Efteling - huge theme park with very good roller coasters.

Nice but not so cheap

• + Space, clean, internet, breakfast buffet
• – Matrass / bed too soft (according to my wife), price, didn't get receipt or specified bill, full parking without back entrance so be prepared to carry ur luggage around the building

Good location if you want to go to the efteling

• + Close to the efteling! good breakfast. bar stays open till 01.00 am
• – Room was not ventilated for a long time. also no ventilation in the bathroom.

Nette basis kamer maar geluidsisolatie is niet zo goed

• + Netjes in orde, gewoon basis kamer. De galerie van Josien Broeren in het hotel is erg leuk.
• – Het geluid van het trappenhuis klonk in onze kamer (direct naast het trappenhuis) erg hard door.

Price-quality ok - great location to Efteling

• + Great location - 5 minutes from the Efteling. Very friendly staff.
• – No airconditioning in rooms - very hot and not easy to sleep in heat

Good budget hotel for larger families

• + Near to Efteling, good value budget hotel for families.
• – No air conditioning, 5 person room was very dark, restaurant was expensive.

Hotel Waalwijk, een relax hotel, dicht bij de Efteling

• + Large shower, large room, bed for a third person, near Efteling, near center of Waalwijk, excelent breakfast, free parking
• – quite noisy, not enough lights in the room

weekend trip with family

• + Clean, well kept rooms. Friendly staff. Well situated for visiting different places of interest as it is close to major road networks. Breakfast lovely and plenty of choices - would suit the most fussy of eaters.
• – Found the dinner expensive and slightly meagre.

• + good for money, breakfast included, parking free

A lovely hotel restaurant nearby the Efteling great for all ages

• + Nice room, good price, lovely lounge areas. dinner and breakfast were good.
• – Had to wait a long time for our dinner at the bistro, it wasn't that busy so kitchen should have done the meals easily in lesser time. But meal tasted good.

A fine hotel

• + A modern, clean and comfortable room, easy and fast check in an out, friendly service, great breakfast and situated very close to Efteling.

Pleasant, enjoyable and spacious stay

• + We stayed in a wonderfully large family room to enable all five of us to stay together. The breakfast was very substantial, ideal for my three sons!

Practical solution for Efteling

• – The bathroom of one of the rooms was not comfortable, which did not have a shower booth.

Great place to stay, good position and fantastic staff

• + Food was lovely and fair price. Pleased to find a hotel that has family rooms for five there are not enough in Europe generally.
• – Hotel room and bathroom not very modern needs a bit of updating.

• + - good restaurant - friendly staff - superior room are comfortable - good enough for a short stay on business purpose
• – - in some cases, i wander how an hotel can get its 4 stars. when you compare this hotel to a 4 stars sheraton or hyatt, it is much less luxurious... - (too much) quiet area - standard (little) room does not meet the requirements of a 4 stars hotel

• + 1. Restaurant (in particular diner): good quality, relaxed/friendly atmosphere and service. 2. Fast and efficient check-in and check-out.

• – Very untidy breakfast room with lots of uncleared tables it was difficult to find one to use. Very smoky bar!

• – We have stayed in 3rd floor with no elevator, so we had to carry heavy luggage with us. People of the next room were smoking at the lobby, next to our rooms, with no option of ventilation of lobby; hotel representative said smoking there is allowed according to hotel policy. Very annoying.

• – Good stay, but a little disapointing by the size of our room (Nr 127) this room is really small compared to the other hotel rooms.
