Each spacious room in Hostellerie Munten has its own character. The rooms are divided into single and double rooms and spacious suites with a sitting area and balcony. All rooms and suites are tastefully decorated and equipped with modern facilities, a bathroom, television and wireless Internet.
Hostellerie Munten is located in an ancient monastery in the centre of Weert. The monumental building was completely renovated in 1996. Today, it houses a stylish hotel with a modern restaurant and a cosy pub serving meals. The country hotel has a beautiful walled garden. Several meeting rooms are available for business travelers.
The country hotel's hospitality contributes to the relaxed atmosphere. In the pub serving meals breakfast is served, as well as a cup of coffee, a glass of wine, and delicious meals and daily specials. You can relax with a glass of wine or aperitif before dinner in one of the comfortable chairs around the fireplace in the lounge. The hotel's restaurant offers a wide choice of menus and seasonal dishes.
Hostellerie Munten lies in the centre of the province of Limburg, near the highway A2. Roermond and Eindhoven can easily be reached within a half an hour's drive and Maastricht lies 60 kilometres from the hotel. Weert is located near the provincial border with North Brabant and the Belgian border, and it is often nicknamed the 'the Gate of Limburg'. The city is surrounded by woods and nature areas and the surroundings are ideal for walking and cycling. In National Park De Groote Peel are some beautiful walking trails.
Food and Drinks
Breakfast is available Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 10:00 h. and on Saturday and Sunday from 08:00 to 11:00 h.
The country hotel has a private restaurant and a pub serving meals. Lunch is available Monday to Friday from 11:30 to 14:30 h. and dinner from 17:30 to 22:00 h. No lunch is served in the weekend, but you can enjoy dinner from 17:30 to 22:00 h.
Drinks are served in the cosy lounge from 09:00 h. until midnight.
On the menu, which changes with each season, are two to five-course dinners and there is enough choice for vegetarians.
In summer you can dine in the lovely courtyard.
There is no bar but in the stylish lounge guests can have a drink from 09:00 h. to midnight.

Guests can make free use of wireless Internet.

Surroundings
Hostellerie Munten in Weert is surrounded by nature, peace and space, so it is an excellent base for trips to the nearby scenic areas. The surrounding area is inhabited since prehistoric times and at the Boshoverheide you can find the remains of a large Late Bronze Age urn field. Weert has a nice city centre with charming shops and boutiques and cosy squares and terraces. Some beautiful historic buildings in the city are the Church of Saint Martin and the former Mint Building. Weert also has many churches, monasteries and chapels.
