Hotel Het Hart van Weesp is not only accessible by car and train, but also by boat. Weesp is a lovely small fortress town and is located along the rivers 'Vecht' and 'Smal Weesp' and the 'Amsterdam-Rijn' canal. In the surroundings of the hotel you can go for a beautiful bike ride. The train station of Weesp lies at a 7-minute walking distance. Bicycles can be rented at the station. A train ride to Amsterdam only takes you about 15 minutes and Schiphol can be reached in about 30 minutes.
The hotel has a large south-facing terrace. For a nice drink guests can take a seat here or at the hotel bar. The hotel rooms are unpretentiously decorated with a bathroom with a toilet and a shower. Also, the rooms have a telephone and a television. A solarium is available at an additional charge.
“
Great location on the canal, really pretty little town.
Hotel is very neat and clean and comfortable. Especially for the price, compared to other Amsterdam-area hotels. Good breakfast buffet. They were kind enough to let me have my room early instead of waiting til 2pm to check -in. ”

Surroundings
Weesp got its city rights in 1355, which made it a wealthy city. Nowadays it is still possible to see the old city walls, fortifications, and two fortresses in this old fortress town. Of all the mills that used to grace the scenery here, there are three that still remain. Weesp is surrounded by a beautiful landscape through which the rivers 'Vecht' and 'Smal Weesp' meander. Het Hart van Weesp is within walking distance of the train station and as such it is a perfect starting point for trips to Amsterdam, Hilversum, and Utrecht.
Food and Drinks
The breakfast buffet is served from 06:00 to 10:00 h. on weekdays and from 07:30 to 11:00 h. during the weekend.
In the adjacent 'Restaurant Rubens' you can have dinner in the evening. It is recommended to make a reservation in advance.

Somewhat noisy (very close to a parking lot/street, and hallways echo.) Staff were not very friendly. Not unfriendly, just rather cold.

There‘s a small but beautiful garden. The room is clean. The small town is quiet. And it's 7 mins from the railway station weesp. If you get there at late night, the host will put your keys in the mailbox and leave you a message, so sweetheart~~
–
The sound insulation of the room is not good that the late arrivals of guests are a little noisy.

When checking out the front desk charged me more than was stated on my conformation print out. I noticed it and went back and they right away refunded me the difference without any trouble. Great , great customer service.

Friendly efficient staff. A gem of a small garden at entrance.

It is always difficult to find a good reasonably priced hotel in Amsterdam during the IBC conference in RAI. Everyone are rising their prices. I have rated the hotel according to what I would expect to get for a full price room, 93 Euro.
Good breakfast, quick service. Not noisy. Spacious rooms. Excellent shower. Hotel surprisingly well located to get to RAI quickly.

No night porter. No coffee machine in room. No plunger in washbasin.

Competitive prices, comfortable stay (cooking, wi-fi etc), very nice city of Wesp

One has to adjust to using a train - though commuting is generally excellent in Netherlands. It took me about 40 mitutes to get from the Hotel to downtown Amsterdam

Nice hotel in pleasant out of Amsterdam location
+
For Amsterdam standards the hotel is excellent for its price tag. It's not in Amsterdam of course, but Weesp is a nice little town with lots of shops and restaurants and the train connection is perfect. I think this is a better deal than a hotel in the boring outskirts of Amsterdam with an endless tram ride.

Reception closes very early. I returned to hotel at 20 pm. I don't know about this "feature" with key. It was great if they will inform visitors about it.

Great stay in Weesp, NL
+
The location is great, just a few "walkable" blocks from the train station (15 minutes from Amsterdam), just by the river with a great view. The breakfast is very good, with much more than the usual european B&B.
–
Not actually a minus point, just the fact that the front desk is not 24 hrs. We arrived at normal hours, but late arrivals might get tricky.

Staff smoking in the entre to the hotel is really discusting as well in the breakfast room. hotels should be smoke free for the comfort of the guests.
