Sumptuous hotel in the Dutch dunes
Wonderful location, perfect for a low-key getaway in style. Very good breakfast buffet and we enjoyed a delicious dinner in the restaurant where the staff was attentive and hospitable.

Great hotel and Location
We enjoyed our stay at Sandton Hotel on Terschelling Island very much. It has great facilities and such a great location on the large beach on the North Sea. The staff treated us well and we had a beautiful room. It is highly recommended.
*my tipThe hotel has a nice pool and sauna. The dining area is roomy and comfortable. The area is great for nature walks and bicycling.

Terscheling is Great and so is the Sandton Hotel
This hotel is a great. Right near the dunes and a magnificent beach. Weather is always iffy but then one can go into the village and hang out. And if you wait a few hours, the rain usually goes away. Plenty of bikes to rent. Miles of biking and hiking trails. The hotel has good food and there is a hangout on the beach with even better food. The island is filled with young people, couples, families with children. The hotel is family friendly. Our son and his fiancee also loved it.
I honestly can't think of a bad thing to say about this hotel.
*my tipGo in August if possible. We went in July and the weather can get cool.

Very helpful personel, great quality breakfast buffet, nice roomy rooms. Great location if you like the "quiet".
the refrigirater was not cold enough. Would be great if you could control your own room temperature. During the night it was kept too warm.
Also breakfast buffet til 10:30 during week would be nice. Especially for people with jet lag :)
very good hotel ,we will visit again
Good, but can be better
The hotel IS comfortable. But the price also.
This inquiry is in english. Unfortunately, nothing is in english inside the hotel : notice in the bedroom, informations in the swimming pool et sauna and, above all, menu in the restaurant. Difficult to make a choice about what you'll eat...
So, we went away. Ok, we can ask, but it's not the same
