Description
Hotel de Valk was thoroughly renovated in 2006. The nostalgic furniture give the rooms a warm and cosy feel. All rooms are equipped with box spring beds, a seating, fridge and cable television. From some rooms one has a magnificent view of the sun setting behind the dike, others offer a view of the market and lighthouse or the town's main street.
Westkapelle is a characteristic little town that is surrounded by the North Sea and the estuary of the Westerschelde. It is situated in the most western part of the Walcheren peninsula, close to the beach, dike, dunes and a small wooded area with creeks. The town is very vibrant in summertime because of the many activities that are organised there. In wintertime it is very quiet which makes it the perfect place for those who like to enjoy nature. In every season one can make long hikes on the beach that stretches for 12 kilometres. The various beach pavilions are a good place to relax while enjoying the beautiful view of the sea.

Breakfast is served daily between 08:30 and 10:30 h. You can have lunch until 17:00 h.

Surroundings
Westkapelle is best known for its lighthouse in the area 'high' Westkapelle that can be admired from miles afar. This tower is made up of the remains of a church that was lost in a fire in the 18th century. In the 19th century a beacon was placed on top of the remains to create a functional lighthouse. A second lighthouse is situated on the sea dike in the area 'low' Westkapelle, which is called 'the Iron Tower'.
