This monumental villa by the sea dates from 1885 and has been furnished in an extraordinary fashion. Each room at Villa de Klughte has its own character and ambience. This family-run hotel exudes romance, warmth and homeliness. For a lovely dinner you are welcome at the hotel's restaurant.

Each room at Villa de Klughte is different, but all rooms are equipped with a bathroom with a shower and toilet, a mini-bar, a radio, a television and a DVD-player. All rooms also come with an ADSL, ISDN and Wi-Fi connection as well as tea and coffee making facilities. Some rooms even have a jacuzzi, a balcony or a widescreen television. Surroundings

Villa de Klughte is located by Wijk aan Zee's broad beach, which stretches from the northern pier of IJmuiden to the village of Heemskerk. The northern pier is a perfect spot for fishing enthousiasts and the beach is renowned as being a surfer's paradise. The adjoining dunes offer plenty of options for fun and relaxing activities.

Food and Drinks

Breakfast is served on weekdays from 08:00 till 09:30, and at weekends from 09:00 till 10:30. Early risers can have an early breakfast on request. It is also possible to have breakfast served to your room. Monday through to Saturday the hotel's restaurant is open, where you can choose to have an a la carte dinner or the daily special. On Friday and Saturday it is also possible to opt for a 3-course Indonesian dinner comprising a starter, an elaborate Indonesian rice table and a dessert.
