Hotel In Den Stallen lies just outside of Winschoten, in the peaceful landscape of the East-Groninger area 'Oldambt.' The cosy hotel is located in an old-fashioned Oldambster farmhouse, and therefore combines modern comfort with an authentic atmosphere. The 16th century fortress town Bourtange is also worth visiting. In the old town centre of Winschoten you can go shopping or have a nice drink at an outdoor café. The city of Groningen can also be easily reached by car or public transportation.

In the morning hotel guests can enjoy an extensive breakfast buffet. On weekdays this buffet is served from 07:00 to 10:00 h.; on the weekend it is served from 09:00 to 11:00 h. In some cases it is also possible to request a breakfast outside these fixed times.

A visit to the old fortress town of Bourtange is also one of the possibilities, as is a visit to the provincial capital of Groningen, or the harbour of Delfzijl.
