Surroundings
Opposite Hotel Aan de Wymerts is the Jopie Huisman Museum. This Dutch painter and illustrator painted everything that appealed to him scrupulously. You can try the 25-kilometre cycling routep past all the places that influenced his work. The charming water sports town of Sneek is less than a 30-minute drive from the hotel and the town of Stavoren is also worth visiting. Skating fans can visit the First Friesian Skating Museum in Hindeloopen.
