Inntel Hotels Amsterdam Zaandam

• + I loved the biological stuff for breakfast. Room was quiet and good. Comfortable and great arrangement.
• – Zaandam itself is not very interesting, but the Zaanse Schans is quite adiscovery. Checkout took some time, as there was a line and only one counter was open. People at the counter seemed a bit overstretched, in the restaurant a smile was more easily available

• – Sound travels easily from halls and other rooms. Better sound proofing would be appreciated.

• – Vanaf station receptie moeilijk te vinden in de avond, geen mogelijkheid om nog iets te eten bij late aankomst.

• + Such a great hotel, very convenient location, only 3 minutes walk to the train station and it takes about 15 min get to the central by train. Very good breakfast and a super comfy rooms. Love it!

• – Breakfast not included. 16 euro for breakfast is far too much.

A beautiful building, so quaint....I didn't want to leave!

• + Beautiful hotel, a charming unusual style, superb bedrooms, comfy beds with lovely linen, excellent breakfast and superb check in staff.

Nice rooms and building, nothing else was pleasant.

• + Well appointed rooms with a large bathroom. The decor was thoughtfully set.
• – By our own fault we booked the wrong Inntel location The staff would not even consider moving us to the Amsterdam location. Zandam is far! Staff gave us wrong train cost information. Tried to charge us for breakfast even though our booking said it was included. We finally pulled up the email on our phone to prove our point. No new towels for the duration of our stay. Guests are always wrong at Front desk has a rudeness to guest
• * my tip This location is quite far from Amsterdam and the train gets expensive. The staff is not helpful so just do your own research. Allow for 30 mins to reach Amsterdam by train. Extra charge for buying a train ticket from the service person so use the ticket machines. Taxis are across the street from the bus area.

Great Hotel, great breakfast, easy access to downtown

• + What a great choice!!!! Lovely room, very nice bathroom, very modern. Easy to reach via highway, park in parkade right next to hotel. Front desk staff very friendly and check in was smooth. Literally took bags to room and left hotel for train station, which is literally right next door. 4 something return gets you to Amsterdam Central in 12 minutes! Last train leaves Amsterdam Central at 1:47 but leaves lots of time to check out red light district et al. Very great experience!!!
• – Make sure you take your paperwork if you booked via discount site, as this just holds your room, you pay when checking out. I had to prove my room rate and that breakfast was included as they were going to charge me more for room rate and charge me extra for breakfast. Once i showed them paperwork all was good and i paid what i thought i was! Btw, the breakfast was Great, lots of selection and well worth it! Its a positive but ran out of room in plus points section :)
• * my tip Dont shy away from this hotel as its not in amsterdam central. You can take train for 12 minutes and cheap! But last train does leave at 1:47, which was late enough for us! We had a great experience!!!

Our Stay in the Intel Zaandam Hotel

• + Central location to trains. Very quirky attractive hotel. Good food. V.Good service. Ideal position to visit Zaanse Schaans, Amsterdam , Volendam Good swimming pool, sauna and gym. Very relaxing Ideal for the wedding we came for ( In Stadhuis )
• * my tip Visit the places mentioned above if you have not been there already. Use the public transport ( excellent ). Go for a meal in the restaurant "Eten bij De Buurman " Top of Gedempte gracht in a small square (dam ) .

• + This was our second stay in this hotel, very comfort rooms and excellent reception & room service. Night porter most helpful.Great stay will visit again.
• – Really enjoyed breakfast, but the turn around and clearing away of tables were extremley slow. I dislike tables empty but full of dirty crocks and leftover foods.

• + Very interesting and unique appearance of exterior and very modern and spacious rooms, good AC system.
• – Hard to get cases through small revolving door at entry. Refrigerator did not work, reported on arrival and also next afternoon but not repaired or replaced.

FABULOUS HOTEL........ A MUST STAY AT HOTEL

• + Got of the train which is 2 stops from Amsterdam, and 12 minutes away, The hotel is outside the station, You can not miss it. WOW I felt I was in a chocolate box fairy tale, It was truly amazing. The hotel inside was just as amazing, The staff at reception are polite and booked us in straight away. The room was on the eleventh floor, once again WOW, The room was large and very clean with a modern finish. The bed was, Well ..... the best I have every slept in, We booked for breakfast which was the icing on the cake, you name it they had it. Yes including the champayagne, Cheers. Fab Hotel....at a great price.
• – Absolutely None.

• + Close to railway station (Amsterdam reachable in 10min). Close to shops in Zaandam. Fully equipped. New Hotel.
• – Breakfast could have more choice for these quite expensive 16€ pp.

Quirky design hotel that avoids noisy stag do's

• + Good quality hotel a short train ride from Amsterdam central. Perfect if you want a quality hotel for a visit to Amsterdam without the risk of having loud stag parties next door to you. Good local restaurants
• – Shower design means that water leaks all over the floor if you're not careful.
