Good standard of food (breakfast was very good), and cleanliness.

Very soft bed. Due to a booking error, on my part, (I booked for the night of the 17th and should have chosen the 18th)we were charged for a two night stay. Whilst this is business efficient, it was put across to me in a totally unconcerned manner without any referral to management. I would have liked the receptionist to have checked the vacancies for the 17th before levying this charge. I know that I was in the wrong, but a little more sympathy and treating the charge to me as a last resort, rather than the first choice would have been better recieved.

Romantisch verblijf aan de zee!

De bediening is super vriendelijke, het was een tijdje geleden dat ik er nog geweest was, dus de veranderingswerken waren een aangename verrassing! Het is stukken beter en gezelliger dan voorheen, toen was ook alles in orde, maar bedoel enkel dat de inrichting veel romantischer is! Komen zeker en vast terug! Het eten is ook een aanrader en de life muziek past er perfect bij!

Heb één negatief punt, en dat is het bed! Er zou een andere oplossing moeten gezocht worden, want je rolt met z'n twee in het midden van het bed, de dunne matras is niet sterk genoeg om egaal te blijven liggen! Dit geeft wel wat pijnlijke situaties 's morgens.

Spacious bedroom and modern bathroom

Very expensive.. 144 euros we were charged for a standard room. Wanted breakfast at 8am but wasn't going to be ready until 8.30, Hotel generally needs updating. Found it very noisey during the night, people were talking in the hall way, also floors not noise insulated as it sounded like the children upstairs were going to come through the floor. Biggest thing was the ferry is only for foot passengers, it takes an hour to drive round to Middelburg.

Super uitzicht

Het uitzicht is zeldzaam mooi, recht voor je kamer komen enorme zee schepen de haven binnen en bij nacht is Vlissingen prachtig verlicht. De beden slapen heerlijk en het personeel is erg vriendelijk.

Het grootste minpunt is de prijs, wij betaalde 175 euro voor 1 nacht. De whirlpool maakt veel herrie en blaast zo hard dat je er last van krijgt, net alsof je kleine brand wondjes hebt. Wij zaten op de begane grond en hadden veel last van de mensen boven ons omdat de vloer van steen is. Ondanks de renovatie in 2008 komen de kamers toch nog ouderwets over en het hotel is veel kleiner dan je verwacht.

Vriendelijk, aangenaam, schoon, boven verwachting rustig, de binnenstad is op loopafstand bereikbaar. Goede TV op de kamer. Goed ontbijt. Rookvrij!!

De binnentemperatuur bij warm weer! Het trappehuis is daar mede debet aan. Ik zou adviseren om het dubbele glas van de ramen (te beginnen in het trappehuis) aan de binnenzijde te voorzien van zonwerende folie, dat is goedkoper dan investeren in speciaal zonwerend glas. Verder een afzuigventilator op het dak boven het trappenhuis (is mede een belangrijk veiligheidsaspect bij een eventuele brand). Het was op de kamer 30 graden ondanks open gekipte ramen! Met eenvoudige ventilatie is daar echt wel wat aan te doen (het is mijn vak). Mogelijk moet ook de isolatie van het dak verbeterd worden.

A great location close to the sea in a convenient, friendly town, easy to find. Nice design modern yet inviting. The room style was very well done- reflecting the beauty of the coast. Bijzonder vriendelijke eigenaar. Te laat voor 't ontbijt en toch nog mogen ontbijten én versie koffie en 'n eitje gekregen. Heerlijk terrasje in de zon voor de deur. Heerlijke plek: in centrum en vlakbij de zee. Kamers simpel, maar alles is er en het is netjes en schoon. Goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding.

Alleen eenpersoonsbedden. Maar deze kun je prima tegen elkaar schuiven.

Close to the beach... Brfeakfast was very good.

Decorations, particularly in the dining room, and the overall 'look'of the hotel: a bit too much cheap kitch (i.e. plastic flowers and metal grilles in abundance)and outdated. No style. The so-called balcony was a space set into the roofspace, with a view over some skylights set in tarmac roofng, barely big enough for 2 simple plastic chairs. Consequently, we did not use it, and we had a "de luxe"room...! Beds were very hard and uncomfortable.

The hotel staff was great! Location within 5-10 minute walking distance of downtown Middelburg where one can find plenty of shops, restaurants, and pubs.

The rooms are small, but adequate for the price. I found my room on the first floor to be very noisey and lacks enough sound protection, which is most noticible when someone in an adjacent room opens or closes their door. Perhaps a small thing, is their toilet paper is dispensed in tiny square sheets (not rolls). I know, it sounds silly, but you will understand how annoying it is once you experience it. Maybe this is a Dutch thing?
