The hotel's woody surroundings offer a wide range of possibilities for relaxation. There are a number of golf courses in the direct surroundings, an area that is characterized by the woods and picturesque villages. The city of Utrecht is not far from the hotel and has lots to offer to those who would like to have a day of shopping or culture. The famous 'Dom van Utrecht' is the largest church in The Netherlands. Utrecht has a large number of churches, some of which even date from the 11th century. Zeist, the nearest city, is also called the 'Slotstad' (castle city), because of the presence of a beatiful castle, 'Slot Zeist'.
Hotel Restaurant Oud London in Zeist has a Health Club, which hotel guests can use for free. This Health Club has, among other things, a swimming pool, a sauna, and a steam cabin. It also has a well-equipped fitness room with various kinds of cardiovascular training equipment. Hotel Restaurant Oud London has a large number of conference rooms, which can accommodate meetings of any size. The 22 rooms, the sun room, the two restaurants, and the garden terrace can seat up to 1.500 persons for parties and 450 persons for dinner.

In the Specialiteiten Restaurant the staff serve seasonal dishes and it has a frequently changing menu. From the restaurant's sun room guests look out over the garden terrace, where guests can have lunch or dinner on sunny days. The restaurant is open from 12:00 to 21:30 h.

The woods of Zeist gradually turn into 'De Utrechtse Heuvelrug', a beautiful nature reserve with heaths, woods, and shifting-sands. Zeist is known as a castle city, because of the beautiful castle 'Slot Zeist'. This castle still has original murals in French baroque style, and the castle is encircled by a charming English landscape garden. Utrecht is approximately 10 kilometres away from Hotel Oud London Zeist, and offers a wide range of churches, with the 'Dom van Utrecht' as the most famous example.
