Description
Hotel 't Getij is located in the heart of the historic town Zierikzee. A short stroll takes you to the museum port, where ships from times long gone can be admired. Nearby lies the marina, where many small pleasure boats and expensive yachts come and go in summertime. Zierikzee also houses 80% of the listed monuments on the island 'Schouwen-Duiveland'.
Hotel 't Getij has a stylish Grand Café with a magnificent authentic ceiling. There is also a cosy restaurant with a view of the garden that has a capacity of maximum 30 persons. For guests that like to dine in a unique ambience, there is the arched vault. This medieval cellar dates back to the 15th century and it accommodates an intimate restaurant for 14 people. The rooms in the hotel all have their own atmosphere and decoration. They are provided with a bathroom with a bath or shower, a toilet and comfortable box-spring beds.
Food and Drinks
The French breakfast is served daily from 06:00 to 11:00 h.
Guests can have a savoury lunch or dinner in the monumental Grand Café, which is also a good place to unwind with a drink and a newspaper. The restaurant can seat up to 30 people and it is a perfect spot for a nice dinner as well.
The distinguished lounge annex bar is situated in the medieval cellar with doors to the garden. Guests can enjoy the high tea and finger food here. But for a truly unique experience one should visit the arched vault. This space has been restored to the original state and offers absolute culinary delight. The chef will personally inquire about the guests culinary preferences. The vault can seat up to 14 people, so it is advised to make reservations well in advance.
