BuitenHerberg Ter Linde has a lot to offer and the friendly staff will gladly mollycoddle you. The historic building dates from the 17th century, but has a contemporary interior. There is an intimate atmosphere, thanks to the comfortable furniture and attractive lighting. The old truss still reminds of the time that the hotel was a farm. The hotel offers 14 spacious, comfortably decorated guest rooms.
BuitenHerberg Ter Linde is located just outside Zuidwolde and is surrounded by farmland, fields bordered by historic hedgerows, woods, heaths and pools. In the quiet valley Reestdal, borderland between the provinces of Drenthe and Overijssel, the little river Reest twists its way through the landscape. It is a splendid hiking and cycling area.
After a trip through the beautiful nature you can unwind in the hotel with a cup of coffee or tea and enjoy lunch or dinner in the hotel. Weather permitting, lunch or dinner can be served on the spacious terrace. In the sunny conservatory, you can dream away with a book. The garden room with its authentic straw plaiting is suitable for meetings. BuitenHerberg Ter Linde is an official wedding location in the municipality de Wolden.
Food and Drinks
Breakfast is served Monday through Friday from 07:00 to 10:00h. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 08:00 to 10:00h. The opening hours of the hotel bar are from noon to midnight and the restaurant is open from noon until 21:00 h. The excellent dishes are prepared with fresh, mostly regional products. The menus are tailored to the seasons.

Hiking can be done in nature reserve Wildenberg and more adventurous guests will appreciate the mountainbike trails around Zuidwolde.
