Hotel Butler in Zuienkerke is set in the idyllic Brugse Ommeland, an area dotted with castles and abbeys and charming villages such as the medieval white village of Lissewege and Oostkerke. You can admire over 1,000 different species of roses in the 40 garden rooms in the Loverlij rose garden. There is even a special composers garden and a poetry garden.
The capital of the Brugse Ommeland region is the medieval city of Bruges. In this charming World Heritage city you can wander through the winding streets, or take a scenic boat trip on the picturesque canals. Bruges has many attractions, including some very good museums like the Groeningemuseum and the Gruuthusemuseum.

In winter, an extensive and fresh breakfast buffet is available from 08:30 to 10:30 h. and in summer from 08:00 to 10:30 h. The breakfast room overlooks the polders of Zuienkerke.

The beautiful green area surrounding Hotel Butler in Zuienkerke is ideal for cycling. There is a nice bicycle route that takes you past the many castles and castle gardens. You can also choose a cycle route that follows the course of the Damse Vaart canal, past all the forts and dykes between Bruges and Damme, inculding the Fort van Beieren and its old castle garden. When you cycle through the beautiful countryside in the region Brugse Ommeland, the scenery constantly changes from castle gardens to historical polder landscapes, woods and green domains.
