Very welcoming, excellent breakfast, hotel includes coffee sweet shop and museum
Hotel Hanzestadslogement De Leeuw is located in the historic centre of the Hanseatic town of Deventer. This atmospheric hotel offers 10 rooms which are sheltered behind a monumental facade from 1645. Guests enter the hotel through the coffee and tea room. Baking utensils, coffee grinders and cake tins grace the walls, giving the hotel a pleasant ambiance of days gone by.
Behind the hotel is a courtyard with a charming terrace where you can unwind at the end of the day. The terrace offers access to the Hanze Museum with its old Dutch sweet shop. Various products from European Hanseatic towns can be purchased at the hotel, such as mustard from Deventer, fudge from London and marmalade from Copenhagen.
