Also, the Edams Museum, the 'Kaaswaag' (cheese weighing house), the 'Grote Kerk' (church), and the 'Speeltoren' (bell tower) can be visited. Edam has a lively city centre with various shops and terraces. The city is mostly famous for its large round cheeses and every Wednesday in July and August Edam hosts a traditional cheese market.Food and Drink
