Hotel Stad en Land is a cosy 3-star hotel in the centre of Alkmaar. All rooms come with a bathroom, a telephone, and a television. Hotel Stad en Land is located in the centre of Alkmaar, opposite the Central Station. Larger cities such as Amsterdam and Haarlem can easily be reached by train or car. Guests can visit various seaside resorts in the hotel's direct surroundings such as Egmond Aan Zee and Bergen Aan Zee, as well as the artistic village of Bergen.

Friendly staff, good value, decent breakfast, handy location for what we wanted to do.
Maybe the room was a little bland maybe a picture or two.. Pleased that we didn t have a room at the front.

Close to the station and bus station. A delightful 10 minute walk to the centre of town. Very pleasant and helpful staff. A relaxed breakfast with freshly squeezed juice, fresh rolls and bread and a good range of eggs, cheeses and hams, coffee and a wide range of teas. All in all a very delightful, small hotel fit for a business stop-over or visiting the delightful town of Alkmaar. Highly recommended.
The wet-room shower tended to flood the rest of the bathroom if not careful.... small point as the bathroom was spotlessly clean with a high standard of sanitary ware. The stairs up to my room were very steep and the treads narrow... OK with me with just an over-night mini-case but may be a problem with large items of luggage or if climbing stairs is a problem.

Very friendly staff. The room was fantastic, very spacious and great facilitites. The location is perfect, a 10 minute walk from the main square and directly opposite the main station.
Shower cubical had a broken door and no credit card facilities were available at the time of checking in, apart from that nothing else.
