Bastion Hotel Almere is conveniently located just off the A6 motorway, ideal for visiting Almere or Amsterdam, the latter of which is a 15-minute drive away. The hotel offers free parking for guests. Het personeel dat aanwezig was (1 persoon) was vriendelijk.
GEEN personeel aanwezig. ca 1 uur op bestelde koffie gewacht.
Inchecken een ramp.Ontbijt het geld niet waard. Aan alles was tekort.

Goed gelegen voor strandfestival ZAND! .. Airco op de kamer. Mooie badkamer. Grote ramen die open konden. Goede service. Airco in de ontbijtzaal.
Ontbijt mag uitgebreider. Een balkon zou fijn zijn met het warme weer.

Was convenient location for us at that date, close to where we had to be and half an hour from Schiphol where we had to go next morning. Young staff was friendly, even though they had to work on 31/12 - 01/01
Relatively expensive for what is on offer - shower outdated - design of room also oldfashioned. Room was very hot, but could not adjust.

Good location
Didn't pre charge the card I used, even though I had asked for this to happen and was advised by HotelsNL to add a note to my booking. This casued problems when checking out

Good Location
No hot water on first morning and no heating throughout the stay, no discount offered.
Appeared to be lack of staff compared to previous year. Customer care skills could have been better.
Mice where running around in the restuarant/bar area, manager admitted they had a problem.
The restuarant/bar was also cold.
Very slow free internet connection in the bar area, with an old CRT monitor.

Nice Room, comfortable, clean, fairly easy to find hotel, ample parking
Bit off the beaten track - nothing else around. Food OK, but wouldn't want to eat there regularly. Not very organised with booking - booked for 6 nights, they checked me in for just 1. Sorted quickly however.

BE CAREFUL FOR THE HOTEL ROOM SERVICE. THEY TAKE THINGS FROM THE MINIBAR AND LATER YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR IT!!! IN OTHER REVIEWS YOU CAN ALSO READ THAT THEY STEAL YOUR STUFF WHILE YOU ARE AWAY. I THINK IT IS MOST IMPORTANT TO HAVE TRUSTED STAFF IN THE HOTEL.

asside of mealtimes staff were verry friendly and happy to help.
service at mealtimes was verry poor on the night we arrived we had to wait over an hour to be served one course. at breakfast service was a little better

The rooms are well equipped including the bathroom. I will surely come again.
The Hotel should cater for Ventilators in all the rooms in the absent of Air conditioning. Sleeping was a real problem during our stay due to warness inthe room.
