Best Western Plus Almere is a splendid 4-star design hotel in the centre of Almere, situated opposite Almere Centrum railway station with direct train links to Amsterdam. The hotel is established in one of the city's most striking buildings, a 70-metre high tower that is a true eye-catcher. The hotel has 22 luxury rooms spread across 8 floors. The rooms offer a perfect retreat after a busy day out in Almere or its surroundings. Here you can enjoy the latest technology and high-level comfort. Wonderful to unwind in!
Surroundings
Almere has lots to offer. With over 400 shops it's an ideal destination for shopaholics. You'll find large warehouses such as H&M, Costes, Hudson's Bay and Primark in abundance here. Not to mention electronics, home accessories, toys, jewellery and all sorts of specialised sports shops. The railway station opposite the hotel provides good travel links to nearby cities. A 20-minute train ride will take you to Amsterdam Central station and 26 minutes will take you to Schiphol Amsterdam Airport. Cities such as Utrecht, Rotterdam and The Hague are also easy to reach thanks to the good connections. Nature lovers can head to the Oostvaardersplassen, a unique wetland with reed plains, rugged grasslands and ponds. It's also a great place to look for birds, deer, Konik horses and small game.
Food and Drink
Breakfast is served on weekdays from 06:30 until 10:30, and at weekends from 07:30 until 11:00. The hotel does not have a restaurant itself, however restaurant Loetje is located in the same building. Next to the reception is a self-service shop offering a range of meals and snacks.
