The Leonardo Hotel Almere City Center is situated in the centre of Almere, next to the theatre and a 10-minute walk from the railway station. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient for a day trip to Amsterdam (20 minutes away by train) or a shopping trip to the Bataviastad Lelystad. Lovers of good food and home-brewed beer should definitely book a table at the hotel's restaurant: Bierfabriek Almere.
The hotel offers comfortable and colourful hotel rooms with unique furniture pieces, specially designed for the hotel. Unwind on a Phi-ton mattress, have a relaxing soak in the bath, and enjoy free WiFi. Guests can also make free unlimited use of the gym located opposite the hotel.
Surroundings
The Leonardo Hotel Almere City Center lies next to the Stadsschouwburg, a 10-minute walk from Almere railway station. Lovers of contemporary art can visit the Museum De Paviljoens. It's just a 20-minute train journey to Amsterdam, or 35 minutes by car. Fancy the countryside instead? Then be sure to visit the "new wilderness" of the Oostvaardersplassen lakes, which provides a natural habitat to red deer and a variety of species of birds.
Food and Drink
A breakfast buffet is available on weekdays from 07:00 until 10:00, and at weekends from 07:00 until 11:00. The hotel's restaurant "Bierfabriek Almere" is a place to enjoy good food in an informal atmosphere. This concept entails beer taps at the table, home-brewed beer, peanut shells on the floor, and delicious organic farm chicken cooked on a charcoal barbecue. Besides being a restaurant, the Bierfabriek is also a café and a brewery. The Bierfabriek is open on Monday to Thursday from 16:00 until 00:00, on Friday from 16:00 until 02:00, on Saturday from 12:00 until 02:00, and on Sunday from 12:00 until 23:00.

Children/extra beds: On request: A cot for children under 2 years old can be added to the room for free. We had a nice spacious room with a spacious bathroom. The room was nicely decorated and clean. The hotel restaurant served excellent food and had good staff.

Amazing customer service, very nice room and superb price for the quality.
Having to retrieve and re-enter passwords for wi-fi , breakfast hot food full range stops being cooked after about 8.45.

Location is perfect because is in the middle of of Almere with just a short walk to the train station.
The staff was very uninterested in customer service. Everyone that I came in interaction from the staff did no make an effort. Especially the reception. The hotel has a great potential, and it's located in the midst of a ever growing city. The price did not match the service.

Noise in the room from AC was awful even if the AC was not on - I found it very hard to sleep both nights. I would not stay there again. Sorry!!

Friendly efficient customer oriented service. The willingness of the front desk to speak English as well as to try to understand my limited Dutch was appreciated.
Air conditioning did not appear to work, was too hot but who wants to make such a complaint at 2 am when the only possible solution at that time would be to change rooms.

near Amsteradam, Bath, Good locality, good breakfest.
very pure TV free programs, needed LOT OF questions within accomodation (TV, elevator, parking, etc - not very good explained), Bed is good to sleep but not good for pair - 2 beds are not joined but swimming on the floor to create the gap between each other - impossible to sleep tight together..

Very clean, modern hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. I was staying before the Almere triathlon, and its a great location for that- only a short bus ride to the race site
Service in the restaurant was slow, they were very understaffed, the food was expensive but excellent - try the steak!

There was not enough staff in bar/restaurant due to illness and as such it took a while before we were served and had our food.

It is not plus or minus point, but an interesting moment. I was talking with my Finnish partner, who stayed in your hotel too. I had problems to find the modern remote control, but happy to know, that he didn't find it at all during the stay ;-)
