The staff were very helpful and the room had all the ammenetites that we needed. Shower was v nice
Nothing particularly negative but the room was very hot and air con would have been great.
“My tip: If you re looking for good restaurants then Leidseplein is only 10 mins away on the tram. ”

We stayed in a recently renovated modern 5-bed room with access to a common deck and garden. Lovely shower room. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area, nice stroll through Vondelpark to the big museums. Tram stop very close, 20 minutes to Central Station. Pleasant service.

Great access to the centre of Amsterdam walking on by tram. In a nice residental area, local bars nearby. Good full breakfast ~ lots of choice.
Steep stairs, but an old building. Very small 3 bed room. Expensive for what we got ~ would rather a pay little more for extra comfort.
“My tip: We stayed during Marathon weekend. Easy walking distance to town, even with a child. Tram stops almost at hotel door. Staff were helpfull but busy. ”

Good standard of the English language and very helpful with any requests. Nice rooms, nice price, slightly cramped, but en-suite.

Good service: our booking by HOTELS.NL from the day before did not work(!) - but they still squeezed us in nicely: got a 4-person room for the first night and a double room for the 2nd and 3rd night.
Also I found the counter stuff nice and helpful: they helped carryin luggage, and wrote me a some special invoice.
Amsterdam is not cheap, and prices are set by the market, (paid ca 130 eur/ night for two beds) incl breakfast. The breakfast buffet is OK, but not great. Could be improved: yoghurt/salad/tee/coffee/bread should be refilled faster (but if you ask they do it - but why do they not just use bigger bowls?), also only one toaster for some 15 persons is a bit slow.but hey:budget.
Bathroom does not look too welcoming, meaning that the tiles are old, but (I asume) it was clean.

It was very cheap by Amsterdam standards. Clean and warm. Right beside the no.2 tram line, so easy to get to the museums etc.
Staff were pretty ignorant. And check out at 11a.m. really means 11a.m.

Pleasantly surprised. Very good room on ground floor with patio area. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was o.k. and kept topped up!A bit out of town but lovely walk through Vondel Park to get there or no. 2 tram runs right past hotel.
Only one key card provided for the room.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Also our radiator did not work and was attended to immediately. Our room no.22 had a patio with table and chairs which we used every day as the weather was good. The breakfast was very nice and the dining room was very bright and pleasantly decorated. The trams were very frequent and passed by the hotel.
A very old and grubby looking bath for which we bought a rubber mat. Some lack of privacy due to no blinds or curtain on the overhead window at the back and guests could look down from floors above and wave.

the receptionist when we first arrived was quite rude and everything seemed an effort, not sure of her name but everyone else seemed friendly

The beds and pillows are extremely comfortable! Enjoyed the balcony. The room was pretty and clean.
The staff was remarkably less than friendly. The hotel is overpriced. The room was small, especially for four beds.
