Proximity to Central Station. This is my third year opting to stay here. Price and location are a consideration as my requirement is just to have a comfortable place to sleep. I require no other service from the hotel other than WiFi and good coffee, both of which they have
I doubt there is any issue with this hotel that has not been addressed. Perhaps a little more regular attention to the communal single toilet at ground floor level would be advisable.
“My tip: See this hotel as a bed and breakfast that is value for money. Some few doors down the street is Cafe Pollux which is a family owned bar that serves beer and a great burger they call the happy cow ”

Cleanliness of the hotel is a major top breakfast - good for the price and hotel location.
Air conditioning - missing, and during the day, the heat was unbarable change of room - i have received a different room with 3 small beds in the attick where the ceiling was very low Floor 3 and 4 (there s à room in the attick serving as 4th floor) do not have elevator and the stairs are very small and dangerous and can ne a real hasle if you have large suitcases

Location is brilliant local to all shops and train station. Staff are friendly and the rooms are clean. Nice view from the rooms, walk in shower
Only thing I would say is the mattress in the double rooms are not one mattress they are two singles pushed together so they do come apart at night other than that it was lovely room with tele hair dryer all you could need
“My tip: Bikes to rent are close, canal trips close, red light district close and plenty of cafés food places. ”

The rooms are small but are very beautifully renovated and practical. The hotel staff is very nice and courteous, and the location is good, 5 minutes walking from central station, less than 10 minutes from Dam square. Breakfast is good for the price and the hotel, although on a Main Street is very quite
There is no wifi connection in te rooms. There is free wifi in he lobby but nowadays this is not enough

Recently renovated, clean, central location, capable friendly staff.
Room an awkward shape, with a low ceiling - and I'm not tall!
“My tip: All Amsterdam attractions within walking distance.”

Hotel Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Location was also good.
Room itself was very basic and those narrow stairs are not easy to use especially with big luggages.
“My tip: Please remember this is a two star hotel so don't expect anything special. You will get basic room with very basic breakfast nearby city center. ”

Great location, great prices, nice wee room if you are just looking for a bed and a shower.
On the first two days there was drilling that started early and someone came into our to install a wardrobe however no one gave us any notice so we had to answer the on our jammies and wait till they had finished till we could change!

Not far from the central station.
The room was at the upper most floor, and the stair case is extremely challenging (no elevator of course). We made sure to go in and out of the room as little as possible. The bed was terrible, the room was cold and the blanket smelly and thin. We were freezing. The internet doesn't work up stairs, yet there is a no internet at breakfast time policy, which assuming you are there to see the city doesn't leave you much time to actually use it.
“My tip: Make sure you don't get a room on the second or third floor.. Check the bed before taking the room. ”

Close to train station. Friendly reception. Clean sheets.
noise from partying next door! Construction going on in hotel. Dirty walls and carpet in room. Poor tv reception--no satilite. Impossible stairs for carrying up large rolling bags. Most expensive hotel we paid for in a trip that included London and Paris but the worst quality by far.

The breakfast is ok, but I dream they will put up a buffet one day. Strangely, I'm always hungry in Amsterdam. Must be all the walking...

reasonable walk from Centraal Station; they try to accommodate people who want to check in early (wonderful in my case as I had just come from an overnight flight across the Atlantic; free WiFi in lobby;
no major complaints; the room was a little cramped and drab but it was what I expected for the price.
