Consciously indifferent

Good location.

Totaly un-wheelchair friendly. We were told we had the biggest room but we have stayed there several times before and our room was no bigger.. Plus being in Tower B and going through several doors to get to our room at the noisy (truckdeliveries, bins, and motor bikes) back of the hotel was not safe should any emergency evacuation have been necessary. When I rang to say we needed wheelchair access I was asked why I hadn t mentioned it when we first booked.- we had not known at that stage.

Appealing with an Eco appraoch

We loved the neighborhood, a little out of the way of all the tourist action,but with vondelpark just behind us.

Parking was an issue, with no space at the hotel, parking the car somewhere off site for the stay took about an hour to drop off and pick up. Also, the elevator broke and everyone had to carry their own luggage up and down the stairs. I think that the hotel should have offered a bellhop service while the elevator was down.

- very bad internet access in a room. If You want to use wi-fi, you have to go to reception room/ hotel cafe. - bad smell in a bathroom. - Check out is at 11:00 clock, but cleaning staff are already getting into room at 10:30. It was quite irritating, hotel shouldnt leave any single impression that guests need to leave as soon as possible.

Great hotel. The staff were really helpful, especially with regards to things to do in Amsterdam and how to navigate the city. Great attention to detail in the rooms. We can recommend this hotel with the upmost confidence.

An experience worth to try, but i.m.o too expensive.

Friendly service, nice atmosphere, just across Tram-Station. Tasty food, breakfast till 12.00 for the 1st of January with champagne. Big bed, really comfortable. Relaxing music at the lobby and the dinig room.

Small room, smaller bathroom. Shower with no door or curtain. No vanity or shaving mirror. No mini bar. No late check out. No wide range of food for breakfast.

Great hotel in a fantastic location.

Bike hire on site was a major plus, particularly with it being next to the Vondelpark. Getting the number 1 tram from Central Station to the front door was also really helpful. Can't really fault this hotel.

Fantastic hotel, GRAB it when it is still available!

Unbeatable value, super nice, clean hotel with superb staff. Don't be fooled by pictures from the outside. Inside it is ultramodern. We stayed in tower B which involved a bit of navigating inside the hotel. But so what? Not a big deal at all. The breakfast (not included in price, but great for 10 Euros --children free--) is sumptuous. The location is fantastic. It is not in the central district, but it is like 3 minutes by tram, and the tram station is right outside. It is right off vondelpark which is a beautiful park to spend some nice time walking around. In all, I would absolutely stay ONLY in Conscious Hotel if I were to visit Amsterdam again!

Great hotel and brand new! Rooms are beautiful. Location of the hotel is great. The tram stops in front of the hotel. Accept the breakfast, I really reccomend this hotel for a city trip!

Breakfast, the price/quallity of the breakfast isn't good. There isn't a lot of choice and the staff is slow with filling products that are empty. We walked in the breakfast room and didn't see any staff at all, so we went to the buffet. There was a staff member coming and stoped us, first we need to sign before we can take a seat. The aproximation from the staff member was rude. The quallity of the products from the breakfast is good!

Nice looking hotel.

Personal at the reception should receive more training. Cleaning lady took the stuff that looked like trash but actually it was not. I not used to that, usually they take only stuff that is in trash can.
