The luxury De L'Europe, a member of The Leading Hotels of The World, is stunningly located along the river Amstel in Amsterdam's historic city centre. Surroundings
De L'Europe lies in the heart of Amsterdam, just 200 metres from the vibrant Rembrandtplein. Near the hotel you'll find an array of major sights and attractions including the Rembrandt House, the Jewish Historic Museum, and the Flower Market. Enjoy a stroll along the shops of the Kalverstraat to the Dam, where De Bijenkorf department store and the Magna Plaza shopping centre are located. You'll also find the Hermitage and the Stopera within easy walking distance. It's just a 25-minute drive from the hotel to Schiphol Amsterdam Airport and 6 minutes to Amsterdam Central Station.
Food and Drink
An extensive breakfast buffet awaits you every morning. Plus guests won't even need to leave the hotel for lunch or dinner as De L'Europe has two fantastic restaurants, which are popular amongst Amsterdam's culinary elite.
The 1-Michelin starred restaurant Bord’ Eau serves exquisite dishes with pronounced flavours that are out of this world. European brasserie dishes with a playful twist grace the menu of the Hoofdstad Brasserie, which offers a view of the river Amstel and the Muntplein. The Promenade is the perfect spot for a delicious Afternoon Tea. Excellent wines and cocktails are also served here.
The timeless Dutch-style pub, Freddy's Bar, is thé place where top business execs mingle with film stars, politicians, and Amsterdam's glitterati over a beer or a famous Bloody Mary. In addition, ladies and gents can enjoy an exquisite collection of cigars in the hotel's very own fumoir.
The summer hot spot Hèt Terras offers a lively view, from passing boats to tourists exploring the Muntplein.
