Average hotel not luxus but ok and price is ok.

    Good location. Bathroom ok.

Room not as good as on the picture. Boring looking. Mattress too soft. Noise from other rooms went easy throogh the wall.

    Other februari 2012

    Comfortable, affordable and easy.

Situated about 5 km from Amsterdam Centraal. Easy to get there by tram No 16, then stop at Museumplein and take tram No 3 or 12 then alight/come out after the second stop. Europa Hotel is about 30 meter away. Easy access to town by tram. A lot of halal food nearby served by Indonesian restaurants. Staffs are friendly and helpful. P/s buy your tram ticket for 24 hours and study your tram no then you will save a lot on transportation.

    A good budget place!

The hotel was located near the entertainment district, very close to the major museums and parks. City center was not far with public transportation nearby. The place was clean with friendly and helpful staff.

Not a luxury place, only a budget. Rooms are tiny.

    Travelling alone augustus 2011

Helpful staff. The rooms were not amazing but can't complain because very cheap. The little garden they had was nice too.

One on the receptionists acted very strange.

Good location, but the price for the hotel room is too high

Friendly personell, good location. Safe area.

The rooms are not very clean! The carpets are very dirty, many dirty spots! The walls badly need to be repainted in all rooms! Dirty scratches and dirty spots on the wallls! The bathrooms are clean, but badly need to be refreshed and the walls to be painted. Basically, the hotel needs to be cleaned and repained.... Also, it is very loud in the backyard, as the people can sit in the bar outside till 1.00 AM and it is not possible to sleep till at least 1.30 is just too loud(night!). Many guessts did complain about the noise to the reception, but no one reacted..... the hotel is not wothy 70 Euro per night.... or it should be renewed!

    Nice service, good atmosfire. Thanks

    Could have been better

The hotel is conveniently located near the city center and is in a safe area. The room was generally clean.

The carpets are very worn and we were not given a double room despite requesting for one. No explanation was provided. The sound proofing is very poor. Not all the linen provided was clean.

    Great bargain, great location

Friendly and helpful staff, a wonderful garden/patio with wild parrots in the trees, very convenient to the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh Museum, the Concertgebouw, Leidseplein, Vondelpark

Small rooms, noisy street (if you are in the front)

    Travelling alone augustus 2009

    Nice staying in Netherlands

Just a really great hotel and it\\\'s very easy to get there - close to the public transportation stops etc.

The price was too high, maybe.

    Friendly staff; excellent location.

Lovely garden for coffee in the morning or a drink at night. Great location. Staff was friendly and courteous.

We had a front room on the street which was quite noisy and smokers outside. Ask for a room at the back.

    Travelling alone april 2009

    Good value, mostly OK

Almost everything was OK. No problem

You must have some way of toasting the bread. And maybe pur a self service machine for the coffe in the breakfast buffet

    Travelling alone april 2008

    Proximity with the main attractions

    - The picture on the website for single rooms is very far away from reality - Room very small and not practical - Smoke everywhere

Very good location. Nice room Good bed and mostly quite neighbours

I could smell cigarette smoke in my room and my clothes in my luggage smelled like that even when I arrived home. But the worst thing was when I went downstairs after my first night there and one lady at the reception table asked me very directly that \" Excuse me but are you going to pay for the the second person who spent the night in your room?\" . I had no-one in my room and it was quite offending. The lady hardly apologised after I had confirmed I was there alone. Therefore I suggest your staff to think twice before they ask something and do some research and get good information before they start accusing.

one of the very few Hotels with a quad room option

very small for a quad room, no bath, street noise, very basic breakfast, generally very cheap internal decor, very pricey for the standard of accommodation

Location, garden in the rear of the hotel, staff fluent in English.

Rooms 4 and 5 are extremely noisey from traffic. It was impossible to sleep.

building could do with a bit of TLC

    Friends mei 2007

The owner was very willing to help. The garden is a pleasant place. Good breakfasts.

The view from the room to a roof. The mattress was very tipped to one side. Every sound goes through the walls. One of receptionists was unwilling to help us.
