Hotel

Dutch Design Hotel Artemis Amsterdam is a contemporary and luxurious hotel on the western outskirts of Amsterdam. Schiphol Amsterdam Airport is easy to reach from the hotel, both by car and public transport. Guests can park their car in the underground carpark, at an additional fee. A bus and tram stop are close to the hotel and you can catch a subway from the stop Henk Sneevlietweg, which is only a 10 minute walk away, making the historic centre of Amsterdam easy to get to. As well as the beautiful canals, you will also find an abundance of shops, restaurants and museums here. At night the illuminated bridges provide this city with a romantic atmosphere.

A modern Dutch style and a hospitable service characterize the hotel. The special use of lighting, colours and the flexible layout of the rooms and spaces create an atmosphere where guests will feel at ease. Objects by Dutch designers such as Piet Hein Eek and Marcel Wanders can be found throughout the building. The hotel also holds surprising exhibitions, which alternate every 3 months. The hotel has eight floors with comfortable rooms equipped with facilities such as air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities and a safe. Free WiFi is available for guests. And you can enjoy access to the hotel's gym facilities during your stay.

    Comfortable business hotel

Close to the IBM and the Netherlands Cancer Institute. Great service especially in the restaurant. Nice meeting rooms.

A bit of wear and tear in the rooms. Prices for drinks were ridiculous.

The possibility to rent a bike.

The distance between the hotel and the center of Amsterdam. The household should be done better in rooms.

    New Years in Amsterdam

Very clean, modern and comfortable hotel. We were never dissatisfied with the service from the hotel. Amazing discount offered from this site made our stay possible

Although the hotel had fantastic transport links into the centre, the distance from the centre was a lot more than it seemed when i booked the hotel.

“My tip: Don t buy the 24 hour transport pass from the hotel as it s overpriced, buy from the official stations instead. ”

    High quality, affordable price

I stayed at this hotel with my friend for three nights, a long weekend. Clean hotel, newly furbished rooms, clean bathrooms always a plus. The airconditioning of the room worked well. The fridge was effective and was just big enough for breakfast supplies. With this price you would never get a similar high quality room in the city center. Excellent reception service. The room was ready early in the morning already at the time of checkin.

The pillows were too high for me but for someone else they may work well. The nearest tram stop was a 10-minute walk away from the hotel and after a long day in the city the walk was sometimes tough.

“My tip: Rent a bike at the hotel and drive to the south to the big forest Amsterdamse Bos.”

The staff were extemally helpful when you had a problem or needed advice, meals were huge with great quality

Even though the meals were excellent and lovely quaility, it was a little expensive

“My tip: The bar was very welcoming as well as the hotel staff, the reception was different from a usual hotel reception, the music suited every quest and whilst I was a guest I did not hear one complaint.”

    Travelling in Amsterdam

The rooms are spacious, furniture looks pretty new, the lobby bar has decent prices even though it s still a 4stars hotel, location even not in the centre it s still very safe, placed actually in an office area of the city (a lot of building offices, eg PWC. It was a very nice present having found at the arrival a bottle of sparkle water in the room. The staff is very polite and helpful, giving you all information needed. Please take care that bus 145 which station is placed nearby the hotel it

Despite the location, maybe I could mention the price of the breakfast, which is quite expensive comparing with the prices for the breakfast in the centre of Amsterdam.

“My tip: Not too many attractions in the area.”

Great base for bicycle based Amesterdam touring

    - Quiet neighbourhood - No unpleasent surprices, everything worked - Pleasant staff - Bicycles for rent - Parking available - Big safe - Ice cubes generator on each floor (yes, I actually used this thing) - Shoes cleaning machine actually cleaned my shoes insted of scratching hem

    - Relatively expensive bicycle rental (16 Eur day, less if you rent bikes for more days (i.e. 13 Eur day for 2 days)- which the staff wont tell you unless you ask explicitely)

“My tip: - The hotel s underground parking is safe but just too expensive (25 Eur day). Alternative supercheap parking lot within 3 minutes walking distance (just google Best Parking when you are nearby - its across the road when going eastwards) - Even though the bike rental is expensive, the comfort of not having to return the bikes exactly on time god knows where in Amsterdam makes this a really good service - Forget about trams and trains, you can get to the city center on bikes easily in 15 min”

Beds were very comfortable. I liked the kettle to heat water, it was very quick to heat.

Bathroom door did not stay closed at all. I would have liked a bedside table between the two beds. What was the point of having a space between the beds but no table It doesn t have to be big, just something to put my glasses and phone on.

Stylish and comfortable hotel between airport and town.

Lovely bathroom and towels. Coffee and tea were topped up daily.

I would have liked to have transport information translated into English.

“My tip: To use your Amsterdam travel card you need to walk to the no. 2 tram stop as the Connexion bus 145 is run by a different company.”

Nice comfortable hotel with good public transport connections.

Very good hotel. Nice rooms with very comfortable beds. Close to public transport.

Not very clean (there is dust everywhere) and low water pressure in the shower.

“My tip: There is direct bus line number 195 from the airport Schiphol to the hotel. There is nothing interesting around the hotel, but you can buy one, two or three day tram ticket and get everywhere you like in Amsterdam.”

A bit far from citycenter but still with good conections!

We got a 40% off deal (Deal of the Day), otherwise a bit expensive. Comfortable room with water heater and coffee/tea pouches.

Location far from city center but still with good conections, at daytime trams at night there is a night bus. We had to pay in advance at check-in. No bars or restaurants nearby. Expensive breakfast.

Fun hotel in an incredible city

It's a cool, funky hotel with spacious rooms.

The hotel is a bit off the beaten path from downtown, but still within walking distance of public transportation.

“My tip: Get a room with a water view if you can.”
