A very small double room

Quiet location but close to eateries and transport connections

Bed was much too soft. The room was not big enough to open a suitcase without blocking access to the bathroom. There was no plug for the hand basin which was totally blocked halfway through out two night stay.

“My tip: Keep your baggage to minimum. Italian restaurant La Mangia in Amstelsveenseweg is a good place to eat. Friendly people and well cooked pasta.”

The quiet area og the hotel. And it s close to the tram station. A baby bed is available at the hotel.

The room are smalls, we had a bigger room to put a baby bed inside but then it was not easy to move and store our bags in the room.

Near to the public tranmaintransportat, from linesto the airpfrom from and toairfrom the city center and museums.

The moquette in the room(s) should be removed but it was cleaned every day.

pleasant, off the beaten path

The location is great being a bit off-center might put some people off, but the area is very lively and gives one the feel of how life really is like in the city. The area is quite well connected to get to the city center (tram line 2 is very close, line 16 is also close) as well as to stations Zuid (bus 15, tram 16) and Sloterdijk (bus 15). The room s bath and bed linen were in very good condition, and the room was good overall. The wifi connection in the room was also very good.

The beds were fine but quite soft.

“My tip: There are several good restaurants in the immediate surroundings along Amstelveenseweg or Koninginneweg, and the southernmost entrances of Vondelpark are close. A bit further out, over the Sloterkade, there are also restaurant cafes looking over canal (such as the Gent Aan De Schinkel) that can be quite pleasant when the weather is nice. Also, one should profit from the Albert Heijn supermarket nearby (Amstelveenseweg 186).”

Great, clean, quiet hotel with beautiful views

In residential area, though still just outside the city. I was travelling with my mom and we needed a quiet place to stay. Two tram options a few minutes walk from the hotel takes you straight to the centre of town. It is also only two streets away from a busy main street with plenty of quality restaurants and a supermarket. We had a third floor room with a small balcony and a beautiful view over a small lake. It s also right next to the Vondelpark - a fantastic place to escape to and experie

The trams don t travel at night, so it s a slightly long walk to the centre of the city. Amsterdam is relatively safe, though, and I did not feel unsafe walking by myself at night.

Comfortable, very good condition overall.

The neighborhood is pleasant, with a number of restaurants nearby. The room was relatively small but comfortable. Good to very good hygiene overall (bed/sheets and bathroom).

The only negative point concerns the shower curtain, which had what think are mold stains/spots, and unfortunately contrast with the (very/)good condition overall of the bathroom.

Clean ,modern room and perfect location!

The staffs are kind. Room is clean and modern style.

Check out time is too early (10:00 am). But other then that it is great!

Cozy hotel in residential area far away from city center

1. Cozy room with modern design. 2. Staff members are reasonably helpful.

1. One day house-keeping staff forgot to make up my room. 2. Shower head was leaky. 3. Constructions across the street made loud noises early in the morning for two days.

Decent 3-star hotel

Small but clean.

The hotel is in a quiet residential location, on the edge of Vondelpark Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very new and clean. The bathroom appeared to be brand new and very clean.

A long walk to get into the city. Rooms are tiny - if you have long legs the bathroom would be a big problem. Walls are very thin, hence you can hear everything above or next door.

Charming hotel near Vondelpark.

Clean and quiet. Always someone at front desk. Great location if you want a quiet hotel. Beautiful park nearby. Bed was comfortable. The room was a good size for Amsterdam, and the atached en suite was spacious and newly renovated.

I requested directions when I booked online, but recieved no reply. I made a phone call, but only got the nearest train stop. The hotel is slightly off the main road, so we wandered around a bit on arrival. I also ran into another guest a few days later searching for the hotel.

Peaceful, Clean, out of the way

It is in a pretty neighborhood just outside of the people's park, so it was nice and quiet. TV in room was very nice as were the beds and bathroom. The room was nice. They offer bike rentals at the hotel. And they offer snacks.

Unfortunately the pretty and quiet neighborhood is so because it's so far away from everything. Even finding a grocery or snack shop took some doing. It would be helpful if on the website, there were directions as to how to get to the hotel from the train station. Because there weren't, we had to take the 3-4k walk (with packs on). It was a fairly unpleasant start. Also, they could use a better snack selection. When you've just had food poisoning, all you want is a cold soda and crackers or biscuits, not mars bars and kit-kats (but at least they even had soda pops).

Good stay

Good location, comfortable space, clean room.

Breakfast is bad. The price is just too expensive. The room near to the street is noisy in the morning.

Nice cheap hotel at the west end of Vonderlpark.

Great service, room had a nice TV, water boiler and own bathroom with shower and toilet. Fairly cheap.

Room wasn't much bigger than the bed (we had to move it a little to open the large window) - but how much space do you really need?

Great place to stay!

Rooms are modern and the location is really great. While it is not in the city center the neighborhood is quite charming and close to transportation and many restaurants.

I imagine some people would think the rooms are too small but we didn't mind the size of them and found the room cozy and comfortable.

A very good hotel, with excellent price/quality ratio. You can rent a bike at the hotel (for 12 eu per day; you can find a bit cheaper bike rental points in the city, but renting a bike at the hotel is very convenient). The service was very friendly, the room was clean and quiet, with a nice view on a quiet street. The hotel is located very near to the beautiful Vondelpark. Free wi-fi and tea/coffee facilities were an additional asset.

The breakfast is too expensive (10 euros). I didn't eat it, so I can't review its quality. Anyway, there is a cheap Italian catering 3 minutes walk from the hotel.

there are none unless your a total snob and if this is the case try hotel victoria at about 100 pound at night but do try this place its great even breakfast was better than victoria
