The location of Hotel d'Amsterdam Leidsesquare in the colourful and popular Oud-West neighbourhood, on the edge of the canal district really is ideal. Cross the Koekjesbrug and you're in the cherished Jordaan neighbourhood with its Noorderkerk church, many courtyards and of course the Anne Frank House. Only 500 m away are the chic P.C. Hooftstraat shopping street and the popular Vondelpark, where many Amsterdammers come to rollerblade or simply enjoy a stroll through the park. The Rijksmuseum, Concert Hall, the Van Gogh Museum and the Stedelijk Museum are located on the Museumplein (Museum Square) and can easily be reached within a 15 minutes on foot.
The hotel is easy to reach by public transport. Take tram 1, 2 or 5 from Amsterdam Central Station and get off at the Leidseplein. Walk towards the Stadhouderskade, take a right there, and then take the third street on the left.

The service from everyone at the desk was excellent The rooms was quiet except for a little noise from the street in the morning. Very comfortable bed
The breakfast room is a bit small and breakfast is served for only 2 hours.

Basic but large clean room in great location. Pretty quiet too. not alot of street noise. Huge shower. room even had little balcony - very Amsterdam!

Stayed in the Twin/Double delux (92euro/night).
The room even had a small balcony, enought for 2 people to comfortably chill on.
Great location: next to tram 1 (comes every 10 minutes), 5 minutes walk from Leidseplain (center of activity and lots of tram stops).
Breakfast is very simple but great (continental).
No safe in the room/lobby.
