After a day of sight-seeing in teh beautiful centre of Amsterdam, you can relax at the Rembrandt Hotel. This small-scale hotel offers 17 rooms, each with its own character. In the small library there are over 1.800 international books. Breakfast is served in the antique breakfast room.
The hotel is situated in the green residential area Plantagebuurt in Amsterdam, at a mere 10-minute walk from the the cosy bars and restaurants around the Rembrandtplein square. It is a perfect starting point for visits to the Artis Zoo, the Tropenmuseum or the flea market at the Waterlooplein.
One of the hotel rooms boasts a life-size copy of Rembrandt's Nightwatch and there is a room with an infra-red sauna as well. The special rooms can be booked on request at an additional charge, such as the Rembrandt Room, the Wellness Room and the rooms with a balcony. In the non-smoking hotel one is only allowed to smoke on the balconies of the rooms 2 and 4. The rooms on the street side have double glazing.
Surroundings
The 19th century Plantagebuurt around the Rembrandt Hotel is a green residential area with many charming buildings. In the close vicinity you will find Artis Zoo, museum Rembrandt Huis and the botanical garden Hortus Botanicus. The interesting Tropenmuseum and the flea market at the Waterlooplein are also within easy reach. For a night out the Rembrandtplein has much to offer.

In the antique breakfast room guests can enjoy a breakfast between 08:00 and 10:00 h. The hotel does not have a bar of restaurant, but in the Plantagebuurt and at the Rembrandtplein there is a wide choice of restaurants.

L hôtel Rembrandt a beaucoup de charme. Quartier paisible entre le parc zoologique et Rembrandt Plein, chambre spacieuse et impeccable, personnel attentif, excellent rapport qualité-prix... Nous y reviendrons lors d un prochain séjour.
Seul point vraiment négatif l absence de parking qui oblige à utiliser un parc de stationnement au tarif prohibitif 47 euros pour 24 h Même à Paris ou à Londres, les tarifs sont moins élevés.

Freshly painted room, nice area, good breakfest for 10 Euro, nice staff
No mirror except in the bathrom, and that was bad Lightning. The room was very Cold, and the stairs are very small and narrow.

10 minutes walk to The centrum of Amsterdam. Friendly and Helpfull staff. Nice room. No noise from The streets. Tram stop 50 Meters from The Hotel.

rustig; prima douche;

voorzichtig met de trap( oud huis / geen lift)
alles is in het engels ook de milieu-en brandvoorschriften
amsterdam is nederland en er zijn ook nederlandse gasten;

Great location - everithing is in walking distance; kind, friendly and helpful staff; good-looking and desing rooms, minibar, guest book with useful informations
IF THERE WERE something negative to point out, maybe it would be the fact that it is older building so there was sometines possible to hear other visitors of the hotel comming back...but it was nothing extremely disturbing..
