Hotel Mozart is an attractive 3 star hotel on one of the most central and picturesque streets of Amsterdam: the Prinsengracht. Hotel Mozart was renovated in 2006 and features 47 rooms, some of which have a romantic view of the canals; others have a view of the historic buildings on the street side. What will probably please the hotel's guests most is its central location. Essential places such as the floating flower market and the Vondelpark public garden can be reached on foot. A relaxing stroll will bring you to the Museumplein, where you can spend hours enjoying the famous works of Rembrandt in the Rijksmuseum, the modern art in the Stedelijk Museum, and the largest collection of one of the most valued Dutch painters in the Van Gogh Museum. Lovers of arts and culture can find everything to their heart's content at the nearby Leidseplein, the location of several stages for popular music such as the Melkweg and Paradiso, as well as the municipal theatre Stadsschouwburg. Hotel Mozart is also the perfect base for guests that prefer to go shopping or to go on a canal cruise.

We booked a room for 3 persons. The room could barely accommodate 2 people. We had no place to put our luggage and couldn t move except 1 person at a time. Way to small. Staff was quite helpful in recommending restaurants and trams. Location is perfect for people going to the museums.

Location is excellent! There are hundred pubs, coffeshops and stores around.
Breakfast - very poor, much better to have it in some nearest cafeteria. There is no laundry! Very slow internet via WiFi.
“My tip: Frozz - best frozen youghurt I have in my life - 4 minute by walk. ”

Perfect location in clean quiet area very close to most attractions,Tram stops and streets full of places to get food from all over the world. Very good coffee shops 100 yards up the street. For a budget hotel this was very clean and warm.
Rooms are abit small (Some rooms are very small about 12 inchs all around the bed ) All beds are single or 2 singles put together for a double. If you intend to do anything other than sleep this may be a problem as they pull apart letting you fall though the gap,but would be perfect for a married couple :)
“My tip: Turn left out of hotel 100 yards up road are 2 great coffee shops then another 50 yards turn left and you are in the main food area with 100s of restaurants and bars. This part of town is very safe and a great place to be day or night. Be carefull if going to red light district at night a female may feel very uncomtable as did my wife. ”

Great location: walkable to everywhere
Some noise, small rooms--but that's what you ought to expect from a small, economy class hotel
“My tip: Be realistic about what you can expect at this price in Amsterdam”

The location is great
The price you pay is not worth it at all for what you get. DO NOT stay in the basement it is unacceptable to call this a hotel. This is coming from the perspective of a hostel traveller, who has traveller through out asian, europe and the americas. Not worth it at all. Booked this place as a last resort there was no availability in the city. The second night we spent on the 4th floor in a canal room this was more acceptable but still in terms of price for what you get still not a good deal
“My tip: If you have to stay here do not stay in the basement!!!!!! ”

Cheap, great location.
You can hear constant flushing of toilets all around you throughout the night. The walls are razor thin too and you can hear conversations everywhere. The staff was quite rude.
“My tip: Try to get a room on a higher floor so you won't hear your neighbors flushing the toilet all night.”

Fantastic location, you can reach the entire city center on foot or by tram. Received a fantastic rate in busy holiday period. Room was basic but perfect - clean, and everything you need works and is in good shape. Will definitely come back.
None. This is not the Grand, but you get what you pay for and this hotel offers great value.
“My tip: Avoid the coffeeshops - Amsterdam has so much more to offer!”

Hotel's staff took money in advance before arriving. When we arrived they asked us to pay again and on top of all they did a mistake. We paid 15% more the second time. Then when we noticed they took money twice, we had a long discussion about that and we were told that this was a small mistake! How fair ... The last day they cancelled one of the payments and gave us the correct amount of money. Rooms are way too small ... there is no place for luggage or clothes or whatever. ( I do not know if they have to follow any standarts, but they seem not to)!
Furniture was broken and we were locked outside the room for an hour as the locker broke. People smoke weed in the hotel as it smells awful even in the rooms. Not the cleanest hotel - saw the staff picking up napkins from the floor and putting them on the table for breakfast. Seems we were not the only one who wanted to speak to the manager, because I saw a gentleman arguing with the staff and asking for the manager. Hope hotel's staff will take note from this feedback.

Clean bathrooms, and good pillows
The reception was not very friendly, seem like I was interrupting her TV time. Wasn't very helpfull either, when asked about canal tours all I got was a grunt and she pointed towards the brochures. Don't pay extra for the lousy breakfast , there are much better places to eat around the corner and for less money. Beware as well that if you go to bed early you will be awaken by loud drunk kids returning from the bars at 4am.
