just like a great many in central Amsterdam

    Central location, clean, nice staff.

Getting a little shabby. Basement room had no controllable ventilation and was stuffy. If you have and sort of physics limitation this hotel is NOT for you, stairs only and they are very tight.

Cosy hotel with friendly staff in great location

Very kind, helpful and welcomming staff. Breakfast good, many different foods. Great coffee. Quick reply of nightportier Very good location. Beds OK.

The very open toilet and bathing facilities. It is no problem with couples, but is a problem when you travell with friend or collegue. Our big towell was not changed for the 5 days we stayed. We didn t have bath-floor-mat the last three days, used small towell in stead. We like to have a bed sheet for each person. Not double.

“My tip: Many good cafées and restaurants in the neighbourhood.Café Bosco , Helmers Café , De Compaenen Reataurants Hap-Hmm , De Italiaan . Park Vondelpark, nearby, when you need some piece and quiete.”

A lower price is not always better.

The staff were all very helpful, with all the different questions I asked.

The bed is too soft, and there is no blanket (only a duvet). Also, you can hear other guests in the rooms next door. Worst, the bathtub does not have any shower curtain or glass door; this created a semi-flood each time I showered. Moreover, the plumbing makes a grinding noise as long as the water is turned on, whether from the shower or the sink.

    nice enough

Spacious room, comfortable bed, nice staff, good location

NO waterpressure in the shower, NO aircondition, seethru glasdoors to the toilet.

“My tip: For the pricreange thois hotel is in they shoud definetly offer aircondition in summerhot days, as well as a shower with waterpressure enough to rinse out your shampoo.”

A satisfying hotel for a tourist visit of Amsterdam

The hotel was fairly central but still remaining in a quiet location. Rooms were modern and comfortable.

Breakfast was expensive and worth avoiding.

    nice budget-hotel

    Room design, mattress, friendly employees.

steep stairs, power outlets (room only had 1, hidden in a closet), no shower curtain so entire sanitary room was wet, concrete floor although smoothened very cold. Limited space for sitting.

“My tip: If you have trouble navigating steep stairs you're going to have issues here. Otherwise fine for staying if you only use the room for sleeping.”
