Location is absolutely fabulous....right in the center of all the action and a 5 minute walk away from the station
Rooms are neat and clean and functional...
Can be noisy at night so not reccomended if it's a good nights sleep you're after.
“My tip: Grasshopper (famous coffee shop) is right next door”

Location; very centrally located, walking distance from Amsterdam Central Station
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The hotel itself is quiet, so it's not the hotel guests who will wake you up.
Location: rooms overlook alleys and streets in which there are a lot of bars, sexshops and coffeeshops. On each and everyone of the nights I spent in this hotel I was woken up by drunk and yelling people in the streets. It starts to become really bad from 2 am so bring earplugs or be prepared not to sleep...
When I was there, there were no towels because of some issue with the laundry.
The rooms are quite old, the carpet is worn and stained. I don't like carpet in hotelrooms anyway, but I
“My tip: try to stay away from the back of the hotel, the noise there is worse than if your hotel room overlooks the front of the hotel. This is relative though, as it is still very noisy during the nights. Be prepared not to sleep after 2 am!”

Great location, comfortable clean room, not too boxy- good value for money for Amsterdam prices.
Had room at top at back, church bells every 15 mins, tho not too annoying and did stop at 11pm. Wifi and tv in rooms cost extra 20 euros per day !

The breakfast content and quality was very good.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Location was noisy but very central
The rooms were only adequate in size and content
We chose the wrong weekend to stay as the price for this level of hotel was astronomical
“My tip: Not advisable to stay for longer than three to four days, service and staff very good, size small, location good but noisy.”

The receptionists who helped me despite their inpolite colleagues, see below
On arrival I was told that the Wifi was no good. I was given room 23 as this was supposed to have Wifi.. That was not the case
The receptionist got mad when I told him. I then wanted to change room as 23 is extremely noicy, se above
Later I asked for taxi. Now another receptionist told me the distance was short. I have some walking problems and do not need to fight for a taxi
“My tip: Do expect to meet inpolite receptionists Stay away from rooms towards street”

Very close to the central station
We had a mouse in the room, and nothing has been done to change it. The hotel was fully booked and the staff was very unpleasent and unwilling to help us (especially during the night). I don't recommand.
“My tip: No free access to internet (12€/day). ”

located close to amsterdam central station
1. rooms not nice.no decor maintained.looks like a dormatory.
2. Located very close to nearby hotels...one can hear roudy people shouting just behind the bedroom.
3.contrary to what is described in the website, facilities included in the cost of the room do not include internet or minibar. you have to pay extra for internet and there is no minibar inside the room.
4. No water kept in the room for the guests.
5. i was in room 310 which was placed backside..could not open windows or undraw cur
“My tip: zdo not stay here..its not worth the price you pay”

Right in the center of amsterdam
Right in the center of amsterdam, noisy between an Irish pub and a church clock that struck the hours every hour
“My tip: ear plugs needed but good hotel for the boys ”
Travelling alone december 2011
Close to city centre.
Cheap for simple accomodation.
Basic single room much better than few years previously
Travelling alone november 2011
Location is about the only plus point really.
No aircon in the room and very dingy with little natural light. Almost no noise insulation from other rooms too, which were full of drunk guys shouting until three in the morning.
“My tip: Only consider this hotel if location is really important to you. There are much better places available.”

Fantastic location. Comfortable room, with large bathroom. I had requested a ground floor room, and was given one. :-)
Air conditioning unit wasn't working properly - when turned on, it'd switch itself back off/on regularly.
TV was at a slightly awkward angle for watching from bed.
Safe battery had run out, so was out of order.

The Hotel is very well placed in center Amsterdam and very close to central station.
My room was the same price of my friend's room but smaller, under the roof & without safe. What I regret the most is I had a terrible night cause my room was upon a very noisy street and not soundproofed at all so I could'nt sleep until 6 in the morning, waking up with a terrible headache.

Location in the heart of Amsterdam and short distance to all facilities. Walking-distance to Dam square, Central station and shopping street. Furthermore the bathroom seemed newly renovated and the price was very friendly for people on a budget. friendly staff as well! :-)
The carpet-floors makes it a bit smelly in the hall etc. Smells old-like. But I have to say it did not bother us in our room. nice and clean!

Cenrally located. No breakfasrt even after patying E 100 single
Even with lift, to your rooms may mean a climb of a few stairs with luggage. Some single rooms are small and dinghy.

Surprisingly, they provide the guests with a water boiler in each rooms, which we did not find in any other hotels we stayed, including the ones in France, Italy, even Austria and Germany.
The decoration is relatively old style.

Excellent location;convenient to local attractions; a bit less expensive than other area hotels.
Not much for amenities or service; hotel looked much nicer online than in person; expected better for this chain
