In addition, the pleasant centre of Apeldoorn is just a 12-minute bike ride away. For some more serious cycling or walking you can head over to the nearby Veluwe, a vast and forest-rich area of natural beauty! Another must is Het Loo Palace, the country's biggest estate. Take a walk through the castle gardens en absorb the beautiful scenery. You can hardly escape the popular Kröller-Müller Museum, which has one of the largest collections of Vincent Van Gogh's paintings on show.
