Hostellerie La Maison de Maître is a small-scale and charming hotel in Arbrefontaine in the Belgian Ardennes. The building was established around 1900 in a village that is lies at an altitude of 400 metres. The stylish rooms carry the names of French writers from the same era. A lovely garden surrounds the hotel.
The woods of Mont de Hodinfosse can be explored on foot, mountainbike or horseback. Further afield you can also enjoy kayaking, spend a day on the racetrack of Francorchamps or go on a shopping spree in Luxembourg city. In the hotel the staff can advise you about regional activities.
Surroundings
The Lienne valley at Hostellerie La Maison de Maître features plenty of unpaved roads for mountainbiking, with routes varying between 12 and 52 kilometres. The area is also perfect for walking, with beautiful villages, pastures and panoramic views of the valley. A fun idea for a day trip is Puzzle Planet in Trois-Ponts, a park with a wooden labyrinth, farmersgolf and a tavern.
