You are most welcome at Arcense Herberg, where regional Limburg hospitality presides. During your stay you can explore the beautiful surroundings either on foot or by bike. The nature parks of De Maasduinen and the Hamert are situated nearby and the village of Arcen enjoys a splendid location along the river Maas.
The spacious and comfortable rooms come with a private entrance with a hallway, a separate shower and a toilet, a television and a radio. Wireless internet and a telephone are also available. Besides double rooms the inn also offers XXL rooms; suitable for two to five persons. As such the Arcense Herberg is a good choice for families and small groups.
Surroundings
You can easily walk to the beautiful castle gardens in Arcen from the Arcense Herberg. If you're looking for relaxation then a visit to the saunas and warm thermal baths of Thermaalbad Arcen is highly recommended. The former fortress town of Arcen is beautifully situated along the river Maas. You can also explore the scenic beauty of De Maasduinen national park; located close to Arcen.
Food and Drink
Breakfast is served daily from 08:00 until 10:00.Guests can visit the restaurant for a delicious lunch or dinner. The northern region of Limburg is known for its tasty asparagus, strawberries and mushrooms. Dishes are prepared in the Arcense Herberg's kitchen using fresh ingredients. Guests can mingle with the locals in the cosy café. On sunny days it's lovely to sit on one of the outdoor terraces at the inn. The bar is open from 11:00 until 02:00, and the restaurant is open from 11:00 to 21:00.

In a great cycling and walking area. Very friendly and helpful owners and staff. Large and comfortable guest bedrooms. Excellent breakfast and evening meals. Secure storage for bikes and large car park.
Not really a minus point, but it is a small older style local hotel, and may not be those looking for an ultra modern hotel.

After intense day at the Floriade, lovely to get back to a peaceful, well run hotel. Beautifully served evening meals and varied, tasty breakfast. Very friendly staff. Within walking/cycling distance of Arcen. Met lots of different nationalities there.

If you are looking for something quaint and comfortable with two very down to earth and wonderful hosts then this is the place you want to stay. Set amongst a forrested area down the road from a castle this hotel is close to the center of town where you can have dinner on the Maas river. It was a very beautiful area and I really enjoyed my stay there. The owners are very helpful and courteous and keep gluten free bread on hand for those who need it.

The owners Linda and Paul were very helpful and made every effort to ensure that our family enjoyed our stay. From preparing meals to helping us plan our activities they could not have done more. We stayed in a 5* Hotel in Amsterdam before we travelled to Arcen we preferred the stay in Hotel Arcense Herberg.
